2.0 Solo/Constructo Complete Blower Assembly_AB

Exact fit, easy to install, works very well and quieter than the old worn out one. After 20 years the blower motor went out. I read where the Venmar 2.0 Constructo was discontinued so I got the complete blower assembly. I will rebuild the old assembly with a new motor for a spare.

I have a 24-year-old Venmar in the house I purchased in 2020. I realized the blower had failed, when I got my electric bill and it was much higher than normal. I guess when the motor fails it must use more energy to try and turn. Once I figured out what was wrong, I found this option on Amazon. It is easy to replace the old blower unit. You'll see people saying it takes 10 minutes to replace. It took me an hour, but my unit is in a very tight space with little room to access. Once installed, I powered it on, and now my house is getting fresh air again. It does seem louder than the previous motor, but I don't know how long the old blower was in the process of failing. Since the installation, my electric bill was almost $75 cheaper. This is much easier than trying to replace just the motor (which I did at my last house). It's prebalanced from the factory, so it's plug-and-play. So much cheaper than the $1,750 it would have cost to have the HVAC guy do it or the $3,500 it would have cost to replace the whole unit.

This is the perfect item that I needed for my 2.0 unit. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the old unit and install the new one. All wires are set up with plastic clip connectors which makes it fool proof. The local HVAC company wanted to charge me almost $1000 for part and install. This was the right way to go for me!!

We have a Venmar Constructo 2.0 that quit working after 25 years. We ordered this, and it was a simple plug and play replacement! Maybe 30 minutes to do it ourselves. So thankful! Came faster than expected and securely packaged.

I went to clean out my air exchanger for the spring and found out the motor had seized up. Rather than wire in a new motor I ordered up this one piece unit. It was easy and fast and to me worth the extra money versus trying to change out just the motor. In 10 minutes my exchanger was hooked back up and running.

Old motor burned out after nineteen years. Model out of production. Thank goodness there are parts still available for this important air exchanger.
