It's a little heavier than expected which isn't a bad thing. The grip is grippy, comes with an adjustable wrist strap, I like the blue version with the aluminum butt cap, I have some blue anodized GP screws that are a perfect match which was an unexpected find. It's somewhat easy to deploy and retract. One section at random always seems to be a little reluctant to loosen up in the same turns as the others but it works with a little extra twist. I think someone who even moderately wrenches on it to open or close it is going to break it or at least pop the sgements apart. But anyone who takes care of their gear rather than treating it as disposable should be okay. Overall I think it's a good value for the price. The length is about right for basic extensions, you can extend it to whatever percentage of length you need without any issues. The weight in the shortest length helps stabilize the camera, a light longer stick with a camera on the end of it ends up kind of 'whippy' or at least high motion if you're using it while moving.

The stick is decent quality. The lock for each section is positive. The handle has a good feel to it. Not as sturdy as some others I've tested, or a gimbal/stabilizer but for the price it is still good deal. A good adjustable strap attached to the handle for those that like to hang it on the wrist or other place when on standby. Good buy for the beginner or occasional user that doesn't want to invest a fortune for the few special events each year. Can use it for walking, horseback, bicycle, or motorcycle to catch those special shots.

Works well, extending it can be a little wonky at times. Other than that it works fine. Seems to be really durable. Not light and cheap feeling.

I bought this specifically to use with my Go Pro on my first ever cavern dive in Mexico several months ago and then again in Hawaii a few weeks ago and it was perfect! You don't need something with lots of bells and whistles, just something that is waterproof and holds your camera securely! The grip was really nice and the wrist strap was perfect. Not much more needs to be said honestly, it helped me capture some amazing footage and was super light weight and easy to travel with! I can definitely recommend, especially at this price point. And yes I paid full price for it.

Easy to use, keep your go pro safe

● Specially designed with rust-proof long screw and long screw nut. ● All have passed salt spray test. Nope. This is a lie. I took this scuba diving a year ago. Rinsed it with fresh water after every dive and again when I got home. Pulled it out a last month and the bolt/nut was rusted solid. I had to cut with a hacksaw to take it apart. I bought a stainless steel bolt/nut the same size as a replacement. That said. the stick itself is well made, lightweight and easy to use.

Very well built selfie stick. I took this on my 8 month trip to Asia and lasted 90% of the way. It could have lasted the entire trip and much more but I didn’t clean it thoroughly after scuba diving. Eventually, the nut rusted and I could no longer tighten it all the way to lock my GoPro. But this obviously my fault, so please note: rinse it well in fresh water and dry it out before storing. Pros: Perfect length Compact, Light Durable materials (Lanyard hook, grip, locking mechanisms) Slick design Comfortable grip Cons: Literally none, unless you want a really long stick, this isn’t it. Doesn’t float. After getting back to the states, Foretoo contacted me about a 1-year replacement and I was thrilled! They quickly sent out a replacement. Thank you! I’m so happy since I’ll be going back to Asia for more adventures and I’m glad I got a new one. It’s by far my favorite stick, the length is perfect for my needs, not ridiculously long, and not too short either. Feels extremely durable considering the price. Excellent customer service.

Bought this to use on vacation when I first got my GoPro. Thought it would be a bit longer, that’s on my for not reading the entire listing. I’m not sure if it actually floats, as it doesn’t have the floating materials the other GoPro accessories I have.
