Aftermarket Upgraded Replacement Fits Whirlpool Dryer Drive Motor 502368 Review: Amazing value! - Absolutely perfect fit in my whirlpool and the boards work perfectly! Very thankful that these are available at a fraction of the cost of Oem parts! Can’t wait to see how long they last. This is the 3rd set of boards I’ve purchased. The previous two were oem and neither lasted more than 14 months. These have a year warranty but for the price, I won’t mind buying more of these if necessary. UPDATE: I thought my boards had failed after 6 months. I requested a replacement under warranty and they sent them immediately without any issue at all! EXCELLENT SERVICE! The boards failed to light up and no ice after a power outage. But after an additional outage (power cycle), the boards are working fine. So I don't know if the initial power surge or outage left the boards in a weird state and they just needed a reboot because now they are working fine. I offered to pay for the boards they sent me since my original ones are working now but they didn't respond with information on how to pay them. So I guess now I have a spare set. A message to future buyers: I would certainly buy these boards if they will fit your fridge! Review: they fit perfect for my whirlpool refrigerator - My Whirlpool refrigerator is the type with the ice bucket in the door. It is 12 years old and when it stopped making ice I "googled" the problem. Almost every response was it needed new ice maker control boards. I looked them up and Whillpool wanted over $200 for them. These that I got were far cheeper and they have a 1 yr warranity. They fit perfectly and its been 4 days and the ice maker works perfect. Plus they took a whole 15 minuets to install. Their are several u tube videos on how to install them. The wiring harness's are short but not too bad. Try pluging in the new boards into the harness THEN screwing them back onto the housing. ( I took the housing off screwed the new boards on and then then pluged them in ) either way works. .

Installation is fairly easy and part works as it should.
Very easy to install these two small boards. Yes, they do need the prongs clipped off as mentioned in some other reviews but this is not a problem. The installation is a little tight due to the wiring harness from the freezer being pretty short. However, with a little manuver of the harness it can be plugged into the board. I found it best to get the board plugged into the harness then put the board on the pieces that fit into the freezer. After everything is hooked up and the unit is restarted, it takes a couple of hours to make ice but once it starts it worked flawlessly. Buying this instead of the manufacturers OEM part saves over $150 and works just as well. I recommend this product without question.

Kitchen Aid Ice Maker Fixed
We had a 2006 Kitchen Aid Fridge that finally had a problem with the Ice Maker not making ice. I went onto the internet to find troubleshooting solutions and isolated the problem to the Optical Receiver Card. I saw prices for replacements on the Internet ranging from $222 to $25 as a kit which also includes the IR emitter card used for sensing if the ice level is full or not. I found the relay on my original card was no longer supplying the 120 VAC to the Ice maker while the optical sensor was working fine. I only replaced the Optical Receiver Card and all is well again. I believe the Primco supplied product and support instructions to be of good quality and would highly recommend this product.

Part from North America HVAC works well
This review is for the part from North America HVAC We bought a new house, and the icemaker in the fridge was not working. I did my research, and found that the parts from my usual part source would cost over $200. Searching here on Amazon I found this part from North American HVAC for $35 and decided to take the chance. The part is in exact match in terms of fitment, had no trouble connecting with the connector, had no trouble installing. I am attaching photos of the original and the replacement parts from North America HVAC, the originals are at the top.

Works, But Difficult To Install
On the big board, the capacitor extends farther away from the circuit board than it should. As a consequence, it abuts the housing before the board is in place, so that it has to be bent to one side to allow that circuit board to be mounted to the housing. On both boards the connector stops are inadequate. Whereas the original had two easily biased clips, each of these connectors has a continuous dam that is curved almost into contact with the contact rods. It took some needle-nose pliers to bend the dam away from the contacts so that the connector portions could mate. Even then, the connector portions are not in abutment with one another. Finally, the connector on the small board abuts the housing to the extent that the small board will barely seat at all, much less properly. Once I wrestled everything in place, so far so good, we're making ice. The $15 price is a bargain, but you pay the price of cheap connectors and a difficult installation.

Easy DIY repair
These parts were easy to install on my 7 year old Maytag refrigerator. I had the same issue with the clips on the plugs that others have mentioned. I clipped the white clips with a pair of small side cutters and easily installed the new parts. Ice maker works perfectly at a fraction of the OEM parts cost. Easy DIY repair, just be very careful when handling the circuit boards and be sure to disconnect all power before attempting the repair.

Fit was good and ice maker dumped ice immediately.
1-7-2020 I am writing a preliminary review as I just installed this yesterday. If you don’t see an update then it must still be working OK. I have a KitchenAid refrigerator and recently the ice maker started working only intermittently . I got a double blinking light when the Ice bin button was pressed. Some online reading pointed to a bad optic sensor After finding $200 plus costs for optic replacement parts on other appliance parts websites I came to Amazon and found very inexpensive parts. I see others that have reviewed this part that had trouble with the fit bit for me it worked just fine. It took me about 20 minutes to install and immediately my ice maker started working again. It already had a load of ice ready to dump when it originally stopped working and by the time I plugged it in and wrestled the refrigerator back in place the ice had already dumped. It’s now the next morning and my bin is almost full. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for so I am a little skeptical of $24 versus $200 but, $200 is ridiculous for two small boards. So, again, if you see no update below it’s still working. Edit 7/6/2024 - Still working!
