Amazing Quality!
I don't think I realized what I was purchasing when I did as these flash cards are incredibly high quality. From the case to the paper. They also show you how to pronounce and give phrases for a lot of the words. I think my only complaint is that there aren't more cards! These will definitely assist me in helping me pass the A1 German exam!

Very useful language tool
I bought these cards for my third grade son, who can read Russian and has a very basic vocabulary. My husband and I are non-native Russian speakers so we are trying our best to give him a strong base to the language and wanted to introduce him to some usual phrases for an upcoming trip. I had them in my shopping cart for some time because the price seemed a bit high but I decided to purchase them. I'm so glad I did! The cards are a beautiful black and white chalkboard style so no distracting graphics makes them very easy to read. I appreciate that the Cyrillic and English transliteration are paired; someone who can not read Cyrillic would be able to use these as well. I do find it interesting that the English transliteration marks the stress by bolding that syllable but the Cyrillic does not have stress marks, though that is typical in textbooks for Russian learners. This would be most helpful to add, in my opinion. In the set, an expression, noun or verb is given and then that word is used in a (very useful travel-related) sentence in tiny print below. The instructions recommend choosing seven cards, separating them, and saying them out loud and then repeating in your head seven times before moving on to the next card. Continue throughout the day, reviewing the ones you've mastered. There are 5 idioms in the back of the deck; one has a typo in the English portion but no matter. There are also two cards that have the ordinal numbers, another with pronouns, and one with the alphabet on one side/reading tips on the back. There are a couple of blank cards to separate the cards you've mastered from the ones you haven't. Mostly, I love the box that contains the set; it seems very sturdy and I expect will hold up to all the use it's going to get just in our home! It's about the size of an index card so easy enough to pack in your carryon for review on a plane, train or other transportation as you travel. Well done!

Best cards yet
I bought a couple of Japanese flash card sets and this is the best of all of them. The way it breaks down the pronunciations of the words and short sentences makes it easy to understand. I wish they had more sets of Japanese.

Great companion to use with otherLanguage Apps/programs
First; yes, the box is nice and the cards are decently sturdy. Currently I am trying to learn German, and currently using two apps: In 24 Hours Learn German (24 lessons), and the Nemo German app both are very good. The Flash cards are really great. They are laid out the same way I was trying to create mine, just much nicer/neater. Example: Wie Viel? underneath the word they give a phonetically spelled word, (Vee Feel) and then on the back is what the word says/means in English. Also, there is one word per-card. This way you can layout each card to create your own sentences. Also I find it great to match up the words with the lessons in my apps. This way once I have heard how something is suppose to be pronounced I can put the cards in the order of the lesson and then shuffle them up to change the order. My one issue is, I thought for the price the box would have been BIGGER and that there would have been more cards. There are only 65 cards in the box. I have seen other language Flashcards boxes for the same price, but with much more cards in them. Now what would be Großartig Awesome is if you could contact the company and have them make specific cards for you.

Not for beginners. Major flaws to cause confusion.
Japanese version: I liked it — until I found a critical flaw. Inconsistent use of “oh”. This is not a small problem since we’re trying to figure out how to correctly “spell” in hiragana. Missing and having extra “o” or ”ee“ vs ”i“ is a huge problem. Example: Where = doko in Hiragana. But the card says “doh ko” for prounciation. Or Today = kyoo in Hiragana. But the card says “kyoh”. How do I explain this problem? There‘s no “oh” in Hiragana. I need to know if ”oh“ means “o” or “oo”. And if you mean all “oh” to be “oo”, then where‘s the instructions for that, and it should be consistently used. For example, you wrote: please = “oh ne gai shi mas su” when that should have just be “o” and not “oo” And all of the Kanji that’s used on the cards do not have Hiragana next to them (a missed opportunity at best, and super confusing at worst). The only reason I can still use these cards is because I took 4 semesters of Japanese in college and I read some Mandarin enough to guess. I bought these to teach my daughter — and to refresh my memory from decades ago. On a positive note, I LOVE the Syllabary that‘s included. I’d buy more of these or little versions to carry around. Also, the cards are beautiful and high quality. I hope yall fix the problems I mentioned. Should be an easy fix right? Best of luck!

The product is a set of Spanish language cards in well made box. Just the thing to have in a day bag or suitcase to use to brush up on the words and their pronunciation. There is an expected issue with the choice of just 60 words and phrases out of a full language. You can argue with the choices. I think that it would have been nice to add say five blanks cards, to complete ourselves, for those specific words that would significant to each customer? In addition, it would be useful to add in the European Spanish version of some words that are different in the two areas of the Spanish speaking world. Restroom/ toilets - baño / los servicios

I recommended this for my French Immersion Adult Group and it was a hit. Great nice cards (probably a tiny too thin) to put on your kitchen bench and go though while you're having breakkie ;) Fun, classy, no spelling mistakes, great product!
