Game-Changer for Coffee Lovers – Highly Recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to make excellent coffee with a French press. The direct infusion method really does make a difference in flavor quality. The coffee tastes amazing, and you truly get to control the brewing process. A pro tip: grind your own beans and go slightly coarser. It minimizes sediment getting through the filter, though I had very few issues anyway. Even without this extra step, the press is incredibly user-friendly. What impressed me most is the combination of quality and value. It’s affordable, easy to clean, and produces genuinely great-tasting coffee. The 304 stainless steel construction feels durable and built to last, and the sleek stainless steel color looks amazing on my kitchen counter. This has completely changed how I approach my daily coffee. A definite game-changer. Highly recommended for anyone looking to elevate their coffee experience without the complexity or cost of expensive equipment.

The perfect press
Bought this for my daughter and she uses it almost daily. It's great quality, easy to clean and replace the screens. The material is a thick glass with stainless steel, it's very sturdy and reliable. She has put boiling hot water in it with no problems. The spout is perfectly shaped for pouring with no over spill. You can use this to make hot or cold, tea or coffee.

Great price and quality
Great quality for the price. Its attractive, works well, and even comes with spare mesh so it lasts a long time. Its also easy to clean, lightweight, and the capacity is great for 1 or 2 people. The coffee stays a decent temperature if you do a shorter steeping time.

Love French press, but prefer no plastic
French press coffee is the way to go for me. Nothing to break or wear out and you get great coffee every morning. I’ve had the same pot for around 20 years so decided to try to upgrade. I was looking for something with no plastic at all. This one said no plastic but that is incorrect. The black ring under the lid that the coffee goes through when poured is definitely plastic. Also, the lid of my old pot snapped down onto the container so there was a good fit all around. On this one, the lid simply sits on top. Once you depress the plunger, the lid is sort of held on by the tension of that while you pour, but it still is not really solidly fit. Neither of those things is a dealbreaker- the product works fine and it is definitely prettier than my old one. I like the copper color. I guess I was thinking it would be significantly different and it’s really not, but that’s the beauty of a really simple product I guess - there’s not much variation.

Produce Great Coffee with Experimentation
I have used this french press daily for a few weeks and I am very happy with it. It creates a great cup of coffee once you dial in your "recipe" (which may take a few days/attempts). The strainer, plunger, and filters are easy to take apart are of good quality. The filter comes preinstalled with two filters and two extra. Having one filter slightly rotated in a different orientation than the other creates a much finer filter which significantly reduced the amount of grounds I found in my cup after pouring. The glass that the press is made of does great keeping the coffee warm while steeping the coffee, but after pouring it into a cup will quickly cool making any extra get cold quickly. The spout allows for a great pour and I have had no issues with run away streams. I also like that the lid of the press has arrows pointing where the open is. The labeling for the volume is adhered great and has not been scratched, removed, or faded after daily hand washing with the rough side of a sponge. Like every product you'll find some drawbacks, but I felt that these are not significant enough to reduce my rating of 5 stars. The scale line is only on the side with the handle on the right, requiring you to use your left hand to pour the hot water in if you are to hold the press while pouring. As a right handed person pouring with my uncoordinated left hand caused me to cause some spills but my coordination has gotten better as time has progressed. While the handle itself feels sturdy the connection to the metal wrap is flimsy and wiggles. I also have not been able to remove the glass from the plastic bottom and metal wrap, but since the interior is what gets dirty that isn't as big of a concern to me. The bubble wrap that the press came in was quite filthy and had a gross oily feel that turned brown where the press's plastic was touching it. You will need to perform a deep clean prior to use. Some lessons I have learned while using this product are as follows: - French press coffee takes time. For me, 5 minutes to boil water and then I have my coffee steep for 5 minutes. It is not a brewing process that will fit your lifestyle if you are go go go. - Experimentation is basically required if you haven't used a french press before. Using the recipe that I used for years with a drip brewer was producing weak and unsatisfactory coffee. - You'll need to find a good grounds disposal method. Unlike drip where you have a filter that you can take out and throw away, the grounds usually require rinsing out to completely remove. I pour grounds into a filter that is in a filter basket to allow for easy disposal while not clogging my sink drain. - No matter how much rinsing of the filter you do, grounds will remain stuck and fall out when drying. Taking apart the filter apparatus is the best cleaning method I have found. - Rinsing out the glass is not sufficient cleaning and will leave coffee residue that makes the glass look gross. I had wash the glass vessel with a soapy sponge after every use.

Well-built; Looks Rugged; Does What It's Designed To Do
The item arrived today. I will be using it later today or tomorrow. I wanted to wash it prior to using it. It is extremely difficult to remove the carafe from the holder. Like PITA difficult. I had to use hand soap to "grease" the carafe so that I could remove it from the holder. It seems that once it's removed, it gets easier to remove it. The markings on the side of the carafe get scraped off each time you remove the carafe from the holder. I placed markings (in permanent magic marker) on the holder to mark the 6oz and 12oz levels -- I can estimate 80zs for my coffee. The packaging was very good -- styrofoam cushioning and paper wrapping kept the item in good shape. It seems well built. As for how well it operates when making coffee (in my case, brewing cacao), I'll update this review when I've accomplished that. UPDATE: I used it to brew one cup of cacao. I used the instructions from the producer of the cacao, and not the instructions that came with the French press. Yes, it produces (finally) a brew that tastes the way it's should taste (IMHO). A simple rinse with warm water, and we're good to go for the next brew. I'll do a complete breakdown and cleaning every third or fourth brew. The instructions for removal of the carafe from the holder are on the side of the box. There's a screw that holds the metal frame to the handle. Loosen the screw, and the carafe should easily come out. The instructions that are in the "owner's manual" simply say to push the carafe up from the bottom -- easily done, except that there's no way to wedge your hand/fingers in such a way to be able to push the carafe up from the bottom unless, of course, you loosen the screw that holds the metal frame to the handle. I initially gave this three stars. I'm raising my rating to five stars. I'm satisfied that it does what it's designed to do, and at a fair price.
