What type of usb connection is on the battery? micro-usb or usb-c?

It uses triple A batteries. But there is an adapter that works with USB mini.

What is the country of origin ?

I’ve had a variety of them over 10 years, and I have never been without light when I’ve needed it. I don’t know where it’s made, but the quality is there.
