Great Supplement for a Healthy Coat and More!
Welactin has made a noticeable difference in my dog’s overall health, especially her skin and coat! After just a few weeks of use, her fur is shinier, softer, and she’s not itching nearly as much. It’s reassuring to know this omega-3 supplement is veterinarian-recommended and made with high-quality ingredients. I really appreciate that the fish oil is sourced from wild-caught, cold-water fish—no mystery origins here. Plus, it supports more than just coat health. I feel good knowing it also helps with heart, kidney, brain, and immune function. It’s a well-rounded supplement that truly supports my dog’s overall wellness. Coming from Nutramax, a trusted name in pet health, I know I’m giving her something safe and effective. If you’re looking for a supplement backed by science and trusted by vets, I definitely recommend giving Welactin a try!

Dogs love these softgels and they seem effective
OMG this Nutramax Welactin Canine Softgels are a hit with my dogs. They love the taste and eat them straight with their regular kibble. I appreciate the omega-3 content, especially EPA and DHA, which support healthy skin and coat. The 120-count pack is convenient and lasts a good while.

Best product we found for dog allergies
I bought these for my pittie who was struggling with itchy paws. This was actually one of the last things I purchased but I think was the thing that helped the most. We give him 2 chews in his dinner and have noticed less redness, biting and itching since starting these. Continuing them until the summer to see if they continue to provide relief that lasts through allergy season.

Check around. Product Great but might save $
Vet recommended for my Cavaliers. Great product and works as it should. Only complaint is price and shipping damage. Recommend checking other pet sites and can probably save some money, unless they do a deal. Every order from Amazon the box has been smashed open. Some had seal band broken on bottle but it's from poor packing and rough handling. Inside seal is in tact so I use the product without any issues.

Extra DHA makes for stronger nails
Our dog has a very rare nail infection that requires extra DHA to keep her nails strong. Her nails have become much less brittle since taking this (she's been taking it for several years now). Before this, when her nails would fall off it would be very painful for her and she would bleed. Due to the infection, her nails will still fall off occasionally however it's no longer painful for her and she doesn't bleed when it happens. Her nails do grow back and I feel like they're stronger because of it.

Great Supplemental Health for Your Dog
My dog's doctor prescribed this product for our dog - 75 lb. Golden Retriever. This is recommended as a health supplement. The product contains Fish Oil which contains Omega 3 fatty acids. These are good for dogs overall health just as in humans. In fact they look exactly the same as I take but I am sure they are made for dogs. The cost including tax equals about 16 cents a pill. I must give my Golden Retirever 2 soft gels per day because of his size. Smaller dogs only required 1 pill. My dog will only take this pill with a Greenie pill pocket. If you and your dog are good at giving and taking pills. respectively, you may not need pill pockets. The first time my Golden took the pill, he spit it out quickly. I think the texture was the problem. He takes the pills with pill pockets without any problem. My dog's health has seriously showed signs of improvement. His coat is beautiful and shiny. Also he seems to be active all the time like he feels good. I also give him a probiotic for his "gut health". Both combine keeps him happy and healthy. My last bottle is $17.99 a bottle of 120 soft gels ($19.39 including sales tax for Florida). I have this product on subscribe and save.

Nutramax is the best
These are not chewable. Seems to help with joint movement and skin issues.

Good concept but not appetizing for my pup.
I like the capsule idea. Usually my dog is not too picky about supplements. I have him on Chinese herbs that smell like wet dirt and he eats them without issue. However, this omega supplement he did not care for. He left it in the bottom of his food bowl every time. I even pierced it and squeezed it on his food to mix in and he became reluctant to eat. He’s a total chow-hound so this was odd behavior. The mint must be too overpowering or the capsule overall is not appealing. He does like fish oil supplements but not Welactin unfortunately. My vet has listened to my feedback and advised us to begin using another product. I told her I would bring the unused Welactin to my next appointment and she could use the remainder to offer samples so other owners aren’t wasting their money and I’m not wasting the supplement. I have no doubt it is good quality but the palatability is lacking.
