Good look'n pole
Nice pole, light, and easy installation..only problem is pole snapped in half within a couple weeks. Only had 2 flag attached. Please send a REPLACEMENT ASAP. I have COPD Stage 4 and I can't get outside to take this apart and return it, so my son said he'd repair the pole. When everyone came down for mothers day they set tepole and hauled away the container,so I havent got anything to send the pole back with. I'll keep the pole and kids said they'd make some repairs to make it usable. I'll retract my comments along with the photo. If you see fit to bill me, be easy..I'm nearing 80 and Social security is my income. Thank you Art Martins

Does not stay up
This pole does not stay up in the wind. I have had to have it taken down at least 3 time to reset the entire pole. I am not pleased with this purchase and would not recommend it at all. How can I return it to the seller or what would my options be? I love displaying our American Flag and it looked really nice but then it started coming down.. not happy.

Looks great, but is very cheap. Lasted less than 2 weeks.
I purchased this product 2 weeks before I wrote this review. The product itself looks nice. It was extremly easy to instal. I placed mine 22inchs deep in the group and it has done just fine. HOWEVER. When it is fully extended it is very wobbly. Especially if you have a heavy duty flag on it. (The flag that comes with it is very light and sheer. Not very high quality, but does the job.) I did purchase a heavy duty embroidered flag to fly on the pole as well. Because of the two flags, and when it is fully extended to 30 feet, it is very very wobbly, and looks as if it should snap in two with even the lightest of winds. Because of this I keep the bottom extension halfway in the pole and try to not go fully up with the other extensions either. It sturdys it up some, but it is still very wobbly. The interlocking system to collapse the poles is a nightmare. It has already locked up in 3 of the sections. I can’t get them to move or loosen at all. I have considered using two pipe wrenches in alternated directions but am afraid the grips will tear up the pole to much for use anyways. The only way I can access the flag is to take the whole pole out of the ground, or use a ladde. (Who has a 30 ft. Ladder to use though? You definitely cannot use the pole as place to rest an extension ladder.) I would not purchase this pole unless you are ready for the headaches. It’s been 2 weeks and half of it is already screwed up. Look for a better quality pole and just spend the extra money. It’s not worth the headache of this pole to save a few bucks. Update 11/27/18: after having this flag pole for 4 months, the American flag that came with it was tattern Beyond belied, and decided to take it down. I grabbed two sets of channel locks and twisted and pulled. I did get it to break free and collapse on every single section, even the ones that had froze up. HOWEVER, the grips on the channel locks have left some nasty cuts and crimps in the pole itself. It is however still collapasable, and it seems to work better now than it did before. I am leaving this review at 2 stars because it should have never froze up, especially not after 2 weeks. I still suggest not having the pole fully extended as the pole gets very wobbly, but going 3/4 the way up with each extension seems to greatly sturdy the whole pole. The flag that comes with it is absolute garbage, so I would purchase a good American made flag before you ever hang it up. UPDATE: it is 4 and a half months after I initially purchased this pole. Today I came home to find the pole snapped in half and the flag laying on the ground. The winds today were a MASSIVE 5mph. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS POLE!

Nice little unit ! The flag is cheap !
I did have some trouble getting it to lock in the up position but resolved that with a pair of channel locks . However the flag started to fray on the end the first day , but at 30ft it's hard to see that UPDATE - since I lock it with channel locks it has not collapsed , but reading the other reviews I am not sure it will come down , however I will see soon , 3 months and the flag is now torn on the top striped corner. I just ordered a better flag and will see if I have the same problems other reviews say about it not coming down Update : the flag lasted about 3 months , when replacing it I ran into the same problem as other reviews , the pole would not collapse, fortunately it is easy enought to pull out of the sleeve and put it back . Two people are best pit it back .

So far so good for Starlink mast
I bought the 30 foot pole to mount my new Starlink dish to help to it see over the trees. So far it seems fine. I have not had any strong winds yet. I set the mounting tube in a two foot deep post hole filled with concrete (Sakrete no-mix) and it seems rock solid. The locking rings are holding well. I think I am getting more consistent speeds on my Starlink connection - far faster than my old DSL line ever gave me. I only have it extended 20 feet so far, but will try raising more sections if needed. If I get a big wind, I may update with my experience. Definitely a bargain at the price.

Flying High but It Won't Come Down Now
For what you are paying this is a descent flag pole. The pole extends out nicely to a good height and does have some sway as you would expect. This is 16 ga and not 10 ga. The flag is not high end, but again, for what you pay, you get a starter flag. I would actually give this a 4 or 5 star rating, but I've had some problems with the telescoping part. It is have problems unlocking now. I was raising and lowering it according to weather conditions until I got familiar with how it would handle in the wind. I've sent a question into the seller to see what they say and will come back and adjust this rating accordingly. For less than $100 and to get a flag with it, I feel as though it is an ok purchase. If the telescoping was to work regularly, I'd give it solid marks and recommend it. I have a friend that purchased a higher priced flag pole and is having the same problem so it is not just lower priced ones.

For the price, it fits my needs. Tends to loosen in windy conditions requiring readjustment. It is easy to change the flag or move the pole as I put the base in a 5 gallon pail filled with rock.

The flag pole is attractive and easy to install. Unfortunately, it does not stand up to even minor winds. If set up in a sheltered area would probably be fine. The seller was responsive and accommodating and issued a full refund and apology.
