I had an issue with my Stihl “Frankentrimmer” I built where the carburetor somehow got messed up on it despite being brand new last year. My trimmer consists of a Stihl FS45 powerhead merged onto a Ryobi Expand-It driveshaft and gearbox I salvaged from a Ryobi trimmer that was damaged and given to me for parts. This carburetor fit exactly as it should have and worked perfectly right out of the box. It is extremely rare that I don’t have to fiddle with the adjustment screws of new carburetors when I order them for whatever I am working on, but this one was dialed in exactly and and run smooth that it makes my trimmer run like an absolute beast!I specifically sought out the Hipa brand when I ordered this because I have the best luck using their carburetors for anything. I have bought two for other trimmers and one for a push mower I sold that worked really good right out of the box and were very easy to adjust if they needed any tweaking of the adjustment screws. I have learned that Hipa tends to offer the best parts for the best prices for any project, and I will continue to buy from them if the option exists.These things are so easy to replace that I have it down pat now and generally replace them as a precaution on any two-stroke item I have now. It is so much easier to just replace the carburetor than to mess around with cleaning and rebuilding them, and often cheaper too.You’d be hard pressed to find a carburetor that works as well as these do for your device. They are reliable, solid carbs that work exactly like you would expect and have quality parts with them to ease installation. What’s more is you would be even more pressed to find them at the best possible price. I don’t know how they do it, but Hipa does it every time no matter what the application!

I bought this carburator kit for my old Stihl FS 55RZ Trimmer. It was an easy install & no adjustments needed. Trimmer had not been used in 3yrs & would not start. With this kit it fired up & ran like new. This kit comes with everything you need. Highly recommended!!

The fuel lines doesn’t match my tank, mine has two separate lines not a big deal…Once dialed in with YouTube runs like a champ…

The old carburetor would not prime and was leaking fuel. I installed this carburetor, primed and the engine popped the first pull. Set the choke and it started right up. It runs right out of the box!
