Excellent tires!
So far so good! I have trusted Continental for years with my life in my cars and trucks. I have only had a couple chances to take my bike out since I put the new tires on, however, I took them through various terrains and they performed very well, as I expected them to. The fitment is right on, the install was simple, they do add a bit more weight to the bike than the original tires but the originals were garbage so I don’t mine a few extra ounces for the stability and durability these provide. They ride very smoothly while also providing great traction through loose gravel, grass, mud and wet pavement. They’re tough and comfortable at the same time which is great for me when I’m either riding solo through rough terrain or taking a leisurely ride with my wife. I highly recommend for any MTB that can accommodate their size. They are very much larger than my OE tires and I was a little nervous at first, but, once I had the wheels fully installed, the clearance is perfect. Now only time will tell.

Total Kryptotal shredding fun
The Continental Kryptotal-F tires are an absolute game-changer for aggressive trail, enduro, and downhill riding. From loose, rocky climbs to full-speed park descents, these tires deliver unreal traction and confidence-inspiring stability. The reinforced casing handles brutal impacts without flinching, while the grippy, open tread pattern bites into everything—wet roots, loose over hardpack, or blown-out berms. Even at low pressures, the sidewall support is phenomenal, eliminating squirm when railing corners or landing off-camber. After multiple enduro races and bike park sessions, they’ve proven far more durable than comparable tires, with minimal wear despite relentless abuse. What really sets the Kryptotal-F apart is its versatility. It excels as a front tire paired with a harder rear (like the Argotal), but it’s also balanced enough to run front/rear if you want maximum grip everywhere. The predictable breakaway and progressive traction make it forgiving when pushed to the limit, whether you’re scrubbing jumps or picking through technical chunk. For riders who demand race-ready performance without swapping tires for different terrain, the Kryptotal-F is hands-down one of the best all-mountain/enduro tires available. Worth every penny—these things rip!

MTB tires Continantal
I need rubber and decided to give these tires a shot. They seem well-made (from China) and have rough-looking tires; I hope they will do well on rocks and granite trails down in Arizona. There are three belts, which should help reduce flats from the vicious cactuses from the Southwest (Thorns). I upgraded my size from 2.25 to 2.40, and they fit fine. They look great on the bike, and I hope to add to my review soon. Well, after several rides, the tires are doing well; they throw small rocks at you! I'm putting a small fender on the front. But I've been running 25PSI front and rear, which is 30PSI. The front tire really holds the corners in the Arizona trails. So far, I have confidence in this tire and feel secure in purchasing it.

Righteous tire at a very competitive cost
I grabbed a set of these to replace some Maxis Ikon 29s on my Marlin 7. The Ikons were carryover from the previous owner. Obviously, these are two very different tires, so it is like comparing apples to oranges. If I were using the bike on light trails only the Ikons were a great tire. They were decently lightweight for my purposes (it is a Marlin after all) and fast, BUT with the kind of trails that I typically ride, the lack of pronounced tread was killing me. I had zero confidence in the turns, and I was constantly slipping on the climbs. I looked hard at the Maxxis Minions when these caught my eye. Continental has a great product here. Right out of the very well packaged box, you could see the quality in the build. Be sure you go with the different front and rear, and double check to make sure you’re putting them on right room! I didn’t mix up front to back, but I got a little too excited and mounted one of them backwards. I had a little bit of issue getting the tires to seat properly (btw I’m still running tubes on the bike) but ultimately I got them on and, as you can see from the pictures, they look great. By the way, these are a 2.4, and they do barely squeeze in on the back, at the bottom bracket seat stay connecting point. There’s plenty of room under the front forks and on the top side of the seat stay. These tires are quite a bit heavier than the Ikon, but my initial impressions on my first quick ride, in mixed wet and dry conditions with sand, pine needles, leaves, and plenty of roots, immediately justified the purchase. Slippage on climbs is almost totally gone. Maybe once or twice I spun out a little bit on a root, but that’s just me putting too much torque down on the climb. On the downhill, I found myself much more confident and cornering much lower and tighter. I cannot say that these are better or worse than the comparable Maxxis set, but I’m looking forward to many miles of rides out of them. The bottom line is, if you’re even considering this set then you’re looking for a decently aggressive tire that is comparable to other top name brands on the market. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

great mtb tires, last forever.
best trail tires you can get. i put 1k miles on a set and more, (still on bike!) you can't the price or absolute tearing these things to when riding good dirt trails ! the traction they lay down is pure and easy to climb with, they perform great in every condition. ride with confidence with continental. this casing is the lowest but it's sure it heavy duty for a trail tire, only downside is trying to get them on!

Amazing Tires!
Best tires on the Market! I absolutely love these tires. They do everything I asked of them and then some they fit perfectly. They’re easy to install and the grip is unbelievable way better than the other brand that I used to use and these will last 10 times longer. I’ve been riding with these for a couple months now and they haven’t given me a single problem

Great. Almost too good.
The tyre is amazing. Super knobby. Grips super well. Barley has clearance on the rockshock judy tho. There isn't any rub just barely enough for a mud guard. Which in my experience you will want with these. They grab everything they run over.
