Buy an extra size larger. Socks are great, but they shrink after the first washing. They are comfortable, but do not go up the calf high enough. Always pulling up. Great for low-cut hiking shoes, but not boots.

Everything about these socks are great, except for their length. Super warm, very comfortable, been washed and dried at least a dozen times and still look/feel new. They are however a bit shorter than I expected. When wearing my merrel boots, they barely reach the top of my boots. This is the only improvement I would like to see.
