I use this refurbished micro computer as a network workstation in our small home computer network. This microcomputer is surprisingly powerful and effective while being so very small. Quite impressive and would be great as a standalone computer, too. It is turned on almost constantly and in a bit over a year, does not overheat at all.

I have two of these small computers being used as home servers for my small business.; one running NetBSD and the other running OpenSUSE Leap. Nothing stumps these little computers! Very powerful, runs quietly and efficiently in the background. Power efficient too - very little heat output. Lots of great IO, and in general these models are easy to upgrade. I purchased refurbished and arrived looking almost new. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely horrible! Even though there is only a 30 day return window, one would expect a COMPUTER to last a little longer! Received end of May and setup but not put into service until this month. First one lasted less than a day before the hard drive was suddenly no longer recognized. Contacted seller and was told if I didn’t buy an extended warranty I was out of luck. As I was reading that message the SECOND one died the same death after less than an hour. This order was fulfilled by TekRefurbs. Other vendors may be better but this was completely unacceptable!

Product Description Discrepancy – Wireless Connectivity The product listing specifies Wi-Fi (802.11ac) under the connectivity specifications. Based on this detail the system was expected to include the required wireless hardware components. However, the unit received did not include a wireless network adapter or external Wi-Fi antenna. Specifically, no Intel AX210 or equivalent) and no antenna and cables were installed. As a result, wireless functionality was not available out of the box. To achieve the advertised wireless capability, I had to purchase an Intel AX210 Wi-Fi adapter and the corresponding antenna kit. The product configuration received does not align with the connectivity features described in the listing.

I uses two of these in my office one as a Management computer to manage our primarily Cisco Network & devices, so it is Air Gapped from the internet, and really only runs MobaXTERM via SSH and some GUI interfaces on the ASA and ISR's so its not realy getting a heavy workout. I have it mounted under the desk on a bracket and use a Wireless Mouse & keyboard, so the Dell is pretty much out of sight/ out of mind. It just works! The other one I use for day-to-day tasks, such as Excell, and the Web. (No games) again, nothing super heavy processor loading, files are served remotely, also mounted under desk. And it really works well. Overall I really like these for their small footprint, and compactness, and they have all the Interfaces one would need in a modern office including built in WiFi, and an actual RJ45 port. Highly recommend if you don't need heavy-duty processing power, or very large local storage (After all, thats what servers and NAS are for, right!)

Technically, the system works, but this isn't what I expected. The shipment came with a 90W power adapter instead of the Dell 130W adapter. You will receive a message in system BIOS stating the adapter is the wrong size and the computer will run at less than optimal speeds. There is no way to contact the seller directly. Amazon will only offer a full refund instead of trying to correct the problem. I bought two of these computers and both have the wrong-sized power adapter, so I can only assume that going through the return process will yield yet another underpowered 90W adapter. As a note, the solid state drive is a 2.5" SATA drive, NOT the much faster NVMe drive that is supported.
