I have tried so many different curling creams and curl definers since my transition 1 year ago and I have to say this is the best I've used. First off, it doesn't leave my hair with white residue after it has dried, it doesn't dry out my hair and my hair does not feel stiff after drying. It's not oily which is great. I love it. It keeps my hair well moisturised and my curls are popping. I have very dry 4c hair which soaks moisture very quickly. I prefer to use it when my hair is slightly damp or on dry hair. It works best for me that way. I don't like using it when my hair is very wet as I don't get the same curl results. Product soaks in very well into the hair and with one use 3 days late my hair is still moisturised. I also use satin bonnet for bed which is great too. The fragrance is not too bad but my daughter says it's too strong but I don't find it but it does smell lovely. I would definitely recommend this product.

No words can express how good this product is. My hair used to be super frizzy , so I would straighten it because it looked neither nicely curly nor straight. I’ve tried multiple products and gels, but this one is by far the best I’ve ever used. I apply it to wet hair and dry it with a diffuser on a low setting, and now everyone keeps asking me if I’ve had a perm. It’s absolutely a miracle. I’m also using it together with the leave-in mask from the same brand. Highly recommended!

This is my second Shea Moisture product and I'm really not impressed. My curls are not popping but the smell is gorgeous and I love the thick texture which quickly absorbs into my hair. However, don't think I will purchase it again.

This product has changed my hair game! I have always had trouble with my afro hair, it just used to always break. It shrinks when I take a shower or am in the rain and it knots up and anything too heavy just clogs it up and gives me spots. The hard London water doesn’t help either and for years I just wore it in a weave. I have been using this daily for the past 6-9 months and it just gives my hair the moisture it needs and makes my hair so soft. The trick for me is to rub a very small amount between my palms (it almost doubles in consistency and gets kind of wet) and then with my hair in 6 sections I lightly pat it on my roots and pull it though the ends. I usually have to do this 2-3 times to get the whole head done and then I spend another few minutes just gently rubbing my scalp and either finger combing or regular combing depending on how knotty it is that day (but this helps to make sure the product is spread evenly which is key for thick afro hair). I usually wear my hair in 2 large cainrows so I do those, tie a silk scarf and jump in the shower. By the time I’m dressed I whip off the scarf and I’m good to go. This works even better at night. I sometimes do the same at night and have a soft afro the next day. It really is a product that allows me to get the most out of hair as it is, rather than trying to define some mystical elusive curl patter that just doesn’t exist for me. It just simply keeps my afro hair soft and easy to manage. The palm-rubbing thing is really important though. If I use too much it just creates build up and my hair becomes impossible to manage. I use this either daily or every 2-3 days depending how dry my hair feels.

I have tried lots of different products, this one is by far the best, it sets and keeps the natural curl in place. No frizz, absolutely brilliant. I love it.

Wish to buy this product again...😍 Please try to minimise the price of these products as they are very cheap im the U.S and can be cheap over here in India too...so this is just a minor concern.
