These are fantastic. Despite being LED, effort has been made to make the bulbs look like authentic festoon lighting. Perfect for weddings and parties as well as the garden!! The build quality is great. Nice heavy duty cable and light housing is well made. Each set comes with a few spare bulbs and can be connected together for using on a single plug (there is a limit per plug so check the manufactures details if you plan on buying many). These bulbs are bright! We bought three sets for our wedding which was actually cheaper than hiring some for the length we needed. The initial plan was to use them for the wedding and sell them afterwards. We were that thrilled with them that we kept them and now have them in the garden along the fence and above our seating area. The entire garden lights up from just these, so a good bbq and a beer (or 4) and you can all still see where you’re going. Very happy with purchase and can’t recommend enough. Edit: 7 years later and these are still great, not had to replace a single bulb.

These lights are great - bought my first set back in 2018 and have kept adding to so now the whole garden is lit. Just runs from one single 240V plug (think you can have 10 sets from one plug). I put up garden wire and then attached the lights to it with cable ties, they are heavy duty and well made. They stay up 365 days a year and I've changed 2 bulbs in that time. Would recommend these if you're looking for a permanent install. You can buy coloured bulbs for them as well but i think the yellow looks great. The brand is 'Tom Shine'

These are great lights, but please check below. I have fitted a number of these original Tomshine lights and in multiple strings (3 max.) going back to 2020. The first install: After about 6 months, we had a power short. I noticed that one of the main string connectors (screw joint) was not tight and suffered water ingress. As a consequence, the connector had melted (badly). Once replaced (and checking the other connections), the lights were fine. Now operational for over 4 years, with the newer low-voltage 2w warm LED lights. Please check and double check your connections during installation and then periodically over the first year. This appears to be the most common issue. Make sure connections are tight. Some waterproof sealant around these connector casings may help. We have ours connected to an EVE socket (you could use any homekit/other smart plug) controlled via automation using Apple Home. Automatic on 30min after sunset. Off at 10.30. It has done this for 5 years. We replace maybe 8 bulbs each year (on a 3 string setup - 45 lights). Makes a huge difference to the garden in the summer and during the winter months. Images show the deformed/burned connector which shorted due to water ingress.

Not rated on durability as they have only been up a couple of months but so far so good! Overall very pleased and look like good quality lights which give off a good amount of light in my carport, as mirrored by other reviews the length of cable to first light is short but I just used a short extension lead as it’s under cover. Spare bulbs are a nice feature but so far haven’t needed any and they come on for 4 hours a day on an automatic timer

First ever review I’ve posted to Amazon, I have to say what a quality piece of kit these lights are! Very well built quality cables and connections throughout an absolute steal considering the price. My only slight complaint is the length from the plug to the first bulb is short (about 3ft) so have ended up ordering the 3m extension (only £6). All wiring fits together very well with water proof screw caps so adding an extension or another lighting set is very easy. Last but not least delivery was superb items arrived in 24hrs at no extra charge. Great quality, great price and look lovely in my garden would recommend and buy again👍

These lights are great. They look great. They feel great. They is great. Heavy duty, bright bulbs, very weather resistant. Got a lot of compliments from guests at my garden party, and a few orders were made off the back of it. I have two sets and they plug together with ease.

Has worked really well in our garden space, what I dislike is the length of power cord from the first first bulb. It is very very short, I am not sure if they sell an extension but if you need to go further than 3foot it could be worth investigating. As you can see from my picture I have had to pop the plug in a bag outdoors. In short I would recommend this product.
