Reliable Filler That Blends Perfectly with Wood Finishes
The Everbuild Multipurpose Wood Filler in Light Oak is an excellent product for both quick touch-ups and deeper repairs. I’ve used it on door frames, furniture, and garden woodwork, and it performs brilliantly every time. The consistency is smooth and easy to work with, filling gaps and cracks cleanly without sagging or shrinking as it dries. Once hardened, it sands down beautifully to a fine, even finish that’s ready for staining, painting, or varnishing. The light oak shade blends very naturally with most wooden surfaces, making repaired areas barely noticeable. It also adheres well outdoors, showing no cracking or flaking even after exposure to weather. A small amount goes a long way, and the 250ml tub is perfect for DIY projects around the home. Reliable, durable, and great value—this is my go-to wood filler from now on.

Handy and Easy to Use – Works Indoors and Out
Picked up the Everbuild wood filler for a few small DIY jobs, and it’s really handy. Smooth and easy to apply, dries quickly, and sands down nicely for a neat finish. Works well on both indoor and outdoor wood, and the white colour blends in nicely for painting over. Only minor gripe is the tube is small, so you’ll need a few if you’ve got bigger jobs. Otherwise, solid, easy-to-use filler that gets the job done without fuss.

A true DIY savior!
I had small holes and cracks in my old wooden doors and window sills at home. I'm not usually a fan of this kind of work, but this product made my job incredibly easy. The biggest advantage of this product is that it's ready-mixed. You can open the lid and start using it right away, which saves you time. It's very easy to apply, and because it has a paste-like consistency, I had no trouble filling the gaps. It dried within 15-20 minutes after application and was ready to sand after just half an hour. Thanks to this fast-drying feature, I finished the job much quicker than I had planned. After the filler dried, I sanded it to a completely smooth surface. When I painted over it, the filler areas were completely unnoticeable. The fact that it's water-based and odorless made working in enclosed spaces incredibly convenient.

All except white are smooth and very easy to work with
I have purchased many of the non-white fillers and they are excellent. They apply smoothly and leave no drag lines, meaning minimal sanding. However, if you want a smooth filler avoid the white filler. It's more grainy and leaves more drag lines, making filling a lot harder with more dust from increased sanding when dry. It also exposes the join line. It's good as a base filler, but I wouldn't use it as a finishing plaster. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars for non white and 2 stars for white.

OK wood filler, could be better
For clarity, I purchased and used the white version of this filler, so I cannot comment on the accuracy of its colour in matching various wood tones, other than to say that it's a very slightly off white on the grey side. I bought this after using the equivalent Ronseal product and overall I prefer that to the Everbuild one. Starting with the positives, the Everbuild filler is better value for money based on the cost/quantity. It's fairly easy to used with quite a thick texture, meaning that when you skim over a hole to level off the filler, the blade doesn't quite whip off all the excess from the surrounding wood. The filler dries very quickly - much quicker than the Ronseal, I found - empty screw holes are pretty much set in 45 minutes or less. It's also hard when set, which in combination with the drying speed could explain the difficulty in scraping excess off around the edges of the filler area. Drawbacks are that the hardness means it seems less flexible than the Ronseal. I'm not looking for caulk-like levels of flexibility but I wouldn't, for example, use this in joints in furniture prior to decorating as I think it'd be more prone to hairline cracking (I have found Ronseal performs relatively well here). The hardness also means that, just like the Everbuild 2-part epoxy based wood filler, it can be a bit of a pig to sand back flat. I suspect that what you save on this product versus the Ronseal you will probably lose on using more sandpaper to get it smooth. It takes water-based paints ok, though needs a couple of coats before it stops grinning through the finish, so worth spot-priming.
