Skin So Soft Original Dry Oil Body Spray with Jojoba 150 ml - Pack of 2

I am always the first to get bitten! Last year I had a really bad bite on my leg and it was gross massive swollen red lump (sounds like my ex!) but this stuff works amazingly! Not once this summer, for the first time in years, have I even been nibbled once! Telling the truth I felt a bit ignored! In all seriousness this has a beautiful light scent, nothing overpowering but still really delightful (kind of like a sweeter baby talc smell but nicer!) it rubs in beautifully, no greasy skin leftovers, you just feel moisturised, clean and fresh, and the added bonus being it has the citronella in that keeps the bugs at bay! I bought this as I won a trip to Florida (of all the times to win a trip to the States lol) and I was worried about the bites...not a single one. Love this stuff, and lasts for ages! I was using it twice a day all over for two weeks and I still have over 3/4 of the bottle left. Its my new favourite moisturiser! Plus the price is amazing!

I'm a handyman and lately I've had a number of exterior painting jobs to do as well as the usual gardening. This stuff keeps the little biters well and truly away and smells far better than Deet products. It also works well as a skin barrier. Washing my hands after painting is so much easier now as the paint simply slips off. I also now have lovely soft arms and hands! ;) If they did this stuff with a sunblock mixed in they'd make a fortune. Update - May 2014 I wouldn't be without this stuff. A bottle now constantly resides in my van. I keep finding more uses for it. As I said before It makes a great barrier oil before I paint or doing anything where my hands will get rather filthy. It is a great moisturizer after sunning ourselves on holiday. Quick spray on the dog or on nesting chickens and they don't have any fly issues. If I use this oil I don't get bitten. The only time I have been is when I've carelessly missed half an arm or the back of a leg. I can work around ponds and woodlands and not get a single bite while this is on. I lasted two weeks in Egypt without one insect bite. I tended to get midge bites on my scalp but a few quick puffs on my hands and then run through my hair and this is no longer an issue. Only one niggle, it sets rock hard when it's cold. It soon softens up again in the sun or over the van blowers though.

I love this product. I bought this for travelling in India. I am very susceptible to bites and can get bitten any time of day usually. I used to put this on throughout the day and a lot during the dusk/evenings. Now, I know that it isn't advertised as that, but I read an article online about how it helps with mosquitoes so I thought I would give it a go. I think it really helped with not getting bit as much. There were a few occasions we spent the night outside on a boat and were just open to the elements and surrounded by insects all night. But with this I felt like I could tell that it was helping. I also bought some deet spray and tested it out comparing it to this on different feet, and while they both worked, the deet wasn't as nice on the skin, smelled terrible and melted my plastic flip flops. The oil is very dry to the touch, so you don't get any greasy feeling at all. It also was actually nicer than my aftersun too and so I just started using it like that. My friend has very sensitive skin and when he used it he had no problem either, whereas usually he gets a rash. It also smells great too, which I think is the anti mosquito part of it. I would never now go abroad without this and recently came back from another holiday where I took it as my aftersun replacement.

Whenever out in damp woods, near water or summer evenings esp when damp, I put this on when I dress, sometimes the spray nozzle stops working so keep working ones for the next bottle, and you will want to buy again, it works and makes more difference than Mosquito protection spray so recommend. Also not toxic smell like Mos sprays, so pleasant to apply.

As someone who attracts every "vampire" insect as a keen gardener and outdoor person, I dread this time of the year as they all think I'm a gourmet meal and are attracted to me. I've been using this Avon skin so soft Jojoba spray for years after having it recommended to me. I can honestly say this is the best natural, deet free repellent spray available. Unlike traditional mosquito repellent sprays this one has a lovely fresh fragrance that is easy to wear unlike the regular sprays that smell of chemicals or citronella. This Skin so Soft also has the added benefit of moisturising your skin at the same time as keeping the pesky blighters away. As a totally unscientific test I decided to spray one of my legs with Skin so Soft and leave the other untreated to see if indeed the insects kept away while I worked in the garden. As you’ll see from my photo, the untreated leg is swollen and the other is normal. I realise this could all be just chance but seeing as I’ve used this spray for years and the only time I get bitten is when I forget to use it. For me this product is invaluable, however the price is actually cheaper than most dedicated mosquito repellent sprays.

Just Lovely Easy to apply, the fragrance smells amazing, leaves skin super soft. Apply every day after showering. Its non-greasy & lightweight. When you apply if goes on feeling greasy but it sinks into the skin leaving it soft & moisturised.

I highly recommend this product as a mosquito repellent. It's not greasy and smells wonderful. I have been using it for years as a moisturizer.
