What kid of strings needs to be used for this guitlele ? Please give me the link, so that I can by.

I've fitted a set of Ernie Ball Ernesto Palla Nylon Black and Silver Classical Tie On Set and they are perfect. They took a little playing to settle in but now they are fine.

Can the guitalele be tuned to E?

I have to say, as an experienced player, I have had no problem keeping this in tune like a standard guitar EADGBE. It took a while for the tension to settle in but it's fine, the intonation has stayed good. I took sensible precautions by tuning it down gradually, and I don't expect to be able to alternate these very different tunings. Obviously there is less tension in the strings now but it is not causing me a problem. If your style requires higher tension then consider buying different strings.

Good for a 4 year old beginner?

I would think that the neck/fret board would be too wide for small hands.
