I bought this in 2018. Still works beautifully. Plug and play, it just works. It has a built in microphone, but I've never used it as I have a Jabra mic/speaker. Even today 8 years on when on a Teams call people still say the image is really good. I tell them I only have a basic webcam, no-one seems to believe me. It might be only 720P (and that is more than you need for online meetings and calls), but the image is crisp, without distortion and well defined. I have always used this on Windows 10 and I have seen reviews commenting on driver issues for Windows 11. So probably worth checking if you have a Windows 11 machine.

This is a very good webcam with built in microphone, for the price. 720p is more than adequate and the microphone quality is also very good. The only issue, which is a known one if you google it, is after a few years, the video projection from the camera starts to flicker a then eventually stop working. This is apparently due to the soldered connection on the board going dry. However, for the price and a few years of good use I’m not complaining. I just bought another when it stopped working.

I looked around for ages for an affordable webcam and this one was recommended the most (even when I googled "top ten webcams". It's a great price, small and has a mic built in. I use it for facebook live and I am told facebook compresses the video a fair bit anyway. But when I use it outside of facebook the quality is ace. Eventually I will probably get a free standing Mic, when funds permit. But this is good to go. Plug and play! So whats not to like. Cheap, small, fits on my monitor. Go get it.

I've bought two of these now over a period of about a year each. They are good initially, light, portable, easy to fix to laptop lid and good quality picture. But after about a year, they both did the same thing. They start to flicker with horizontal white lines making it unpleasant to view on meetings

It will do the job you've bought it for, it's no cinema camera

For under £20 you really cant beat the quality of this webcam, even in dark environments it keeps a high quality resolution and doesn't add much motion blur. The microphone doesn't sound the best hence the 4 star review but i think considering the actual quality of the camera that's an acceptable draw back. It's easy to mount but i will add it doesn't really stay in one place unless you use, for example 3M tape (which i did) to secure it in place. The connectivity is super simple with just a male usb-a plugging straight into your pc, it reads it as a webcam instantly and works straight away. The overall design and value for money is amazing and i love how small it is making it easy to place anywhere. 9/10!

Easy to install and the have clear picture

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Avec Windows 10 ou 11, il suffit de la brancher pour pouvoir l'utiliser. Il n'y a aucun programme à installer. C'est réellement très agréable. La qualité de l'image est bonne y compris dans des conditions de lumière artificielle. Je ne peux donc que recommander ce produit vendu moins de 20€ par Amazon.
