A Detailed and Well Illustrated Book
This is a very well presented book with information clearly set out. It contains a wide variety of recipes for smoothies. The book is in full colour with each smoothie recipe on a separate page. It states the nutritional content of each smoothie but not the sugar content. In the back section of the book it gives additional information about the nutrients in juices, fruit and vegetables etc. Again the amount of sugar has been excluded. This is unfortunate as I would have found this information extremely helpful. The book is a compact size, however I felt that it was a bit expensive.

Perfect compact smoothie recipes
I bought this book off of Amazon for info and recipes as I have no idea how to combine ingredients to drink....to eat yes .. but drink no I love it because: 1. It was written by a health professional in the nhs 2. Gots loads of pics of the finished, smoothie, the ingredients and the benefits of the ingredients 3. Got the nutritional content such as Calories, Fibre, Carbs of each finished smoothie as per the recipe and also a section of the calories on each ingredient if you wanted to make up your own concoction 4. Reduced price. I paid £6.99 5. Nice and compact...looks good on the kitchen counter or can fit in my handbag 6. All the ingredients are readily available in any supermarket. ..I don't have to go to a specialist shop to get stuff 7. You can search for a recipe by any ingredient. For example I had some bananas that needed using up before they went off and I was able to find all the recipes that contained bananas via the index at the back of the book 8. Good variety of recipes. I have not got bored as yet in the 2 months that I have been using the book. I have one smoothie a day for breakfast. 9. The recipes makes it easier to consume at least 5 portions of fruit and or veg a day as lots are blitz together

Really good smoothie book
I'm delighted with this book. Every smoothie has a beautifully illustrated coloured page and photo of the finished drink, showing the ingredients used. Each smoothie is for 1 person therefore you don't have to make reductions to adjust the recipe. It provides the gms of carbs, protein, fat and fibre in each smoothie advising you of the total calories and how many of your 5-a-day it uses, with tips too for each drink. If you've only got specific fruit vegetables available if you refer to the index it will direct you to the pages you'll find relevant recipes to use up your ingredients available. This is a great buy.

Fantastic Little Book
At a quick glance, it looks a fantastic little book, although I haven't tried any recipes yet. Each smoothie recipe shows the amount of calories, fat, protein, fibre and carbs are in it, and best of all, how many of your 5-a-day it contains. The book is in full colour with photos of each smoothie and ingredients. There is a section which tells you about the health benefits of certain ingredients, and each section of recipes are listed in calorie order, from the lowest to the highest. It seems a very well designed book. Very user friendly. Can't wait to try out some of the recipes!

Little A5 sized 'book'. Bought it as a gift but it looks more like something you'd get free if you buy a posh blender. Recipes look nice though

Really good beginners book!!!
I don't usually give 5 stars as nothing is perfect, but this little book deserves it. A very nice pocket A5 size book, with loads of good information, well presented & thought out. A good book for beginners, 80 recipes to start you off and a well laid out section covering cereals, fruit, both dried & fresh, nuts, seeds and pulses together with calorific info. to enable you to go further if required. Well done the Authors!!!
