Aveda Be Curly Curl Enhancer

This is a salon level product. Other brands can be good, and for straightforward shampoo and conditioner I don't think you need Aveda (although if I could afford it, I would!). But for leave-in, there's no substitute. I can't comb through my curls except when they're wet, so with no product, everything looks a mess the next day unless I wet and condition all over again. Aveda's Be Curly keeps them in condition for days. You don't need much, so provided you don't overdo it, hair feels smooth (and also lasts a reasonable length of time). aDespite it being leave in, there's no stickiness. I've tried several times to substitute with a cheaper product, but I can't find anything else that does the job. This review might sound over-enthusiastic, but it's because I'm coming back to Aveda after quite a long time having tried everything else, and finding the quality a big step above.

This really enhances my curls and keeps my hair smoother and less flyaway. I don’t need to apply it every day either. I just wet my hands and scrunch my hair and the curls spring back into shape without the need to use electrical equipment like tongs. Will buy again despite the price as it lasts for ages.

With a little amount it really helps enhance my curls. It is a bit pricey but if feels soft and nice a leaves a subtle scent in my hair. I tend to add a bit of a stronger product in the hair ends to hold the curls a bit longer

Works well for my curly hair and defines the curls well, although can sometimes weigh it down and feel greasy. A bit expensive - there are cheaper products that work just as well.

Finally the product I have been looking for! It gives my 3A type blonde hair strong, defined and voluminous yet soft curls - just what I want! Make sure you learn about 'plopping' (you will never go back to using a towel) and while your hair is still very damp, apply this product by scrunching it into your locks. Do NOT comb or rake it with your fingers! Now, using a diffuser with your head upside down, very gently dry your hair so that it is maybe 60-70% dry. Let the rest of it dry naturally, and watch how Aveda gives you lovely springy curls! For more volume, you can lift your roots with clips and leave to dry. Good luck!

I was cautious as to whether or not I even needed a curl cream, but after incorporating this into my wash and style routine I can't imagine life without it. It also works very well to refresh your hair on days 2-5 if you are hoping for longevity of style, but gel will certainly be needed to give hold to the curls this cream defines.

If you have extremely curly hair, this product will condition it superbly, however if you have wavy hair that you wish to enhance try VO5 Curl Power (not the Mousse). It is very hard to get hold of these days (Alberto assure me they still make it but the Mousse seems to be more widely stocked) it is a curl enhancer that really works, if I put it on my hair damp, curls seem to appear as if by magic (far cheaper too). The Aveda smelt lovely and left my hair well conditioned, but it did not enhance my waves and meant that scrunching just bulked it out rather than enhancing curls. I wont be buying this particular Aveda product again, but I still like many of their others, I guess its just what suits our individual hair

ich habe naturgewelltes, leicht lockiges Haar....derzeit aber nicht gerade "gesund" und trocken....häufige glätterei, extensions und färberei haben meinen naturwellen im laufe der letzten beiden jahre den garaus gemacht...dachte ich zumindest! :) eine freundin schwört auf dieses produkt und hat mich mal "testen" lassen. ich fasse es nicht, kombiniert mit einem guten feuchtigkeitsshampoo sind die wellen wieder da! das haar glänzt sogar und sehe im löckchen-look nicht mehr aus wie der besen aus der abstellkammer, juhu! habe mir jetzt auch gleich noch shampoo und conditioner dazu bestellt, denn der löckchen-look hilft bestimmt dabei, das halbwegs noch ansehbare haar zu erhalten und endlich mal wieder zu züchten (regelmäßiges spitzenschneiden natürlich vorausgesetzt). TOP: das produkt klebt nicht! man merkt es nach dem auftragen....zieht sogar in die handflächen ein. klasse!

J'ai tout essayé, et ce crème Aveda est LE MEILLEUR. Il ne pèse pas, il aide les cheveux à onduler sans être collant ni artificiel. Et cela sent bon. C'est cher, mais c'est du qualité absolu et il suffit de très peu à chaque usage.
