Happy with the paper quality but there's no perforations for a straight, clean tear when removing pages like most sketch pads which is disappointing

Good quality sketch pad for a beginner. A4 pages so plenty of space to practice. Texture and thickness are as expected for a basic sketch pad. Using this with pencils and it holds up well to rubbing out my many mistakes. Price point at time of purchase very reasonable. Satisifed customer.

Overall, seems an excellent quality artists paper: > bought for my daughter for sketching with a mechanical pencil, paper is 165gsm (grams per square metre) weight so thick enough for many uses. > lightly textured so erasing takes a bit more work and can be slightly prone to smudging if not careful. > 'warm' slightly cream white > acid-free so will avoid yellowing / becoming brittle over time > 30 sheets so about 16p a sheet: mid-range price but bit expensive for casual scribbling ! > overall seems a solid choice for sketching and will be buying again when this one is full up. > bought along with: > the book 'Draw 3-D' by Doug DuBosque, a very good intro to perspective sketching. > Rotring 'Tikky' 0.7mm mechanical (propelling) pencil, which works very nicely with the pad.

I’ve been buying this exact pad from this maker for years . Taught myself to draw years ago when I was dealing with mental health problems and this was the first pad I bought . I love the size and quality of the paper . And as I’ve kept all my drawings they stack pretty neatly all being the same . Will definitely continue to buy more .

I’ve been using this sketch pad for both pencil and ink work, and I’m really pleased. The acid-free paper feels smooth yet has just enough tooth for clean lines. I like the wire binding because I can easily flip pages back while working outside. The pages are sturdy enough to handle light washes of watercolour, too, though they do warp a little if you go heavy on water. It’s become my go-to pad for everyday sketching and practice pieces. I’ll be picking up another one once I fill this one up.

It's a sketch pad, it pulls off as much graphite as you want it to. Not used it with pastels though.

This is the best sketch book in this price range although I bought this to draw with me derwent colourfast but this is wonderful for both coloured pencils, graphite and charcol pencils. The tooth of the paper is good, the paper is neither too smooth like ivory sheets nor too rough like watercolor papers it's just perfect. But the paper is a little thin than expected.

Muy recomendado para boceto, papel muy gruerso, ocupe marcadores muy fuertes y lo resistió, pero en excesos si se puede llegar a traspasar, pero es muy versatil y de buena textura.
