This kettle is excellent!!! I purchased this in April 2019 and have used it every day since. After 7 years, it’s still fully functional and in perfect condition. The only parts that have started to wear are the plastic lid mechanism and the limescale plastic filter. Also, the Brita filter helped a lot with limescale and dirt. We later removed it when we switched to reverse osmosis, which became the only water we used in the kettle — resulting in no scale build-up and no need for constant cleaning like with regular tap water. I recommend this product 💯

Brilliant kettle, I've had one before almost 3 years ago. We have really hard water in our area, hence a lot of limescale. Difficult to remove without damaging the kettle.

I must say... I've brought this kettle 3 times now...First 2 from a local store and now this one from amazon... well I'm happy with this purchase as its packed really well. And it always a bonus when your product is packed well.. I'm just really happy by this fact.. this make/type of kettle lasts for years.. they are the beat for filtered hot water... I see some people moan about how much this kettle holds.. well, I just filter my water and if I need more space, once filtered I remove the plastic holder... love love love this kettle.. enjoy nice tasting teas ❤️

The BRITA filter sounds nice in theory, but if you haven't used one before (as I hadn't), you should be aware just how much this will increase the time it takes to make a drink. No longer can you just throw the water in the kettle and turn it on. You have to wait idly by it while the water trickles through the filter. If that's fine by you, then great. For me, I'd rather have a normal kettle, and just pour pre-filtered water in. The worst part though may be the capacity. Something I didn't think would be a problem, since this is a 1.5L kettle. Right? Wrong. The product title is misleading. It says 1.5L, but the product DESCRIPTION says 1L, with a 0.5L hopper. That doesn't count. If you are making tea for more than three people at a time, you're going to need to run it a few times, and that means waiting for it to trickle slowly through the filter every single time. If you host people regularly, this is not the right kettle for the occasion. Despite my complaints, it is a perfectly serviceable kettle. If the low capacity and slow prep time aren't a problem for you, you'll probably find this kettle to be completely fine. For myself, I can't help feeling like I made a mistake.

Love this kettle so much. I live in an area with extremely hard water, so cups of tea with the tap water in a normal kettle were really awful. But now with the filter in the kettle, the tea is absolutely gorgeous. The only very tiny downside is, of course the water takes a minute or 2 to be filtered when the kettle is first filled, but that is a small price to pay for the quality of the water. Really highly recommend this kettle.

Didn’t realise the kettle would be plastic until I received it. There’s a more expensive version with glass. The Brita filter does not fit in as snugly as it should without the risk of breaking the appliance. I use brita filters already and their appliances require you to press the filter in until almost a click, but with this, it’s not strong enough and therefore a good chance water will bypass the filter. Disappointed, I’m sure it’ll work but can’t really see it lasting too long. Better keep the box as I think there’s a 3 year guarantee.

La bouilloire est arrivée avec une prise US non spécifiée dans le descriptif de l'appareil. Pas vraiment honnête de la part du vendeur. Le produit est bien alors allez l'acheter chez un autre vendeur et posé la question du type de prise avant de commander.
