Excellent medium to create skin texture on reborn babies.. refridgerate before applicant and pounce out, leaves a beautiful finish and texture. This medium pot lasts a LONG time. Great size. Practical and well sealing storage pot preferred to a bottle. This stuff is great. Also good for mixing into acrylic paint prior to application for a range of uses.

Finished quality as expected, pay for the quality. Easy to use, does what I want, “sticks” well. Liquitex value for money.

Easy to use, used it to adhere various papers, foil and plastic, to ATC cards and to create faux leather, etc. Has a nice matte finish.

I was previously using podge modge to transfer laser jet images to wood, the results were pretty bad with the image tearing and the edges coming away from the wood. I watched a YouTube video where liquitex was rated best gel medium so I gave it a try. It is amazing! I sealed the wood with 2 coats of liquitex and then applied the image, left it overnight and then began removing the paper the next day. I wet the image with a sponge and rubbed it 4 or 5 times to remove all of the paper and the results are great. There are no tears and the edges are perfect. I haven't sealed the image yet with a gloss sealant but I'm very impressed with the results. If you're looking to transfer images to wood then this is definitely the best product!

Following a recommendation by Elizabeth St Hilaire Nelson I bought Liquitex Gel Medium to try out as my collage glue. Unlike her, I chose the Matte Gel Medium rather than the Gloss Gel, as I didn't want a shiny finish on my art work. I am very pleased with my choice; the product is tacky when first applied so it holds the collage in place as I'm working. Once dry, there is no evidence of the product's application - the surface is left smooth and matte, and the collage piece is very firmly affixed. I also cover each collage piece with the gel as I work to act as a UV protective archival seal. I will certainly continue to use Liquitex Matte Gel Medium in my art practice. It is an invaluable tool.
