As expected

Great colour, a little lighter than expected and needs a good 3 to four coats on a miniature to build a solid look if that's what your using it for.

Excellent quality ink. Took this ink to my first Watercolour ink workshop. My art teacher said this make was an excellent choice. Used the same make in the class too!

Used this to dye leaves for a ghillie suit.

This stuff is the best of the best. Works perfectly on hot and cold press paper. Beautiful pigment and flow on the paper. You can get fantastic values with this alone. For the amount of ink you get the price is fantastic. Absolutely love the fact it has a dripper built in too for ease of use. Love this stuff! Will be buying it for as long as it exists

good ink with strong pigment

this Shimmering Blue ink is fantastic quality - as always with Daler-Rowney acrylic materials - my only tip to other artists using this colour ink would be to not underestimate how much you need to get good coverage and a consistent colour across your work. Mixes very well with water and with other ink colours, and gives an unusual, metallic / pearlescent finish which really does "shimmer!" (though I'd prefer to use the word "flash" rather than shimmer, as I think that to say it flashes better describes the finished effect!) the finish gives beautiful flashes of colour and a really vibrant tone, even over other colours. applies well to different surfaces: card, tissue, ceramics, paper, plastics - even textiles - though possibly best on thick, good quality paper / card. highly recommended (though, again, I would say order 2 or 3 pots to ensure you have the quantity for good coverage on your painting / artwork.)

It is only single one colour, work experience regarding this product. Dnt buy it. Amazon still not return and refund for only this product.

The postal person was silly enough to drop the box over a 6 ft tall fence (nearly 2m drop) onto cement and the bottle was totally unharmed, the actual ink works exactly as promised as well.

Acrylic paintings

This seller needs to package their glass bottles a little better. I was VERY lucky, it was in plastic, inside a lightly padded envelope and it made it in one piece. I have gotten these ink bottles from other sellers and they usually have them wrapped up in bubble wrap and boxed. The product itself is beautiful and a pleasure to use.

The color is just what I wanted. An actual metallic look. It’s thin enough to flow nicely, smoothly and dries fast. I bought it for a speedball calligraphy pen, can’t wait to practice so I can use it on my Christmas cards.
