I bought an ISG Hotplate Stirrer instead which is really good and a dream to use !!! Heats quickly and to a consistant temperature. It is runing for approx 4 hours at a time and is very silent when operating.It should be obviouse but given it is a HOT plate do not leave unattended for lengthy periods or in an area where children could touch it while in operation.The only reason for the loss of 1 star is i have used it probably around a dozen times for approx 4 hours at a time and on one occasion the spinning mechanism didnt activate. I didnt have to do anything except turn off the spin and turn it back on.
