BEQ700 7 Band Bass Graphic Equalizer for Bass and Keyboard

If you are using a audio interface like a umc202hd and a non-active bass guitar i.e. a hofner bass, you will notice that input gain can be a little low through the interface. It's quite noticeable when using online jamming apps such as jamulus. This is where the behringer bass equalizer comes in! . Connected between the bass and interface, this unit gives as much gain needed plus an additional boost on the bottom end frequencies. I would recommend this for the home studio, well worth it.

I'd read good and bad reviews before purchasing this pedal but decided to take a punt on it due to the low price. If you're after warming your sound up for a deep, smooth tone (which i was) then this is a great piece of kit. It's transformed my sound instantly! Only 2 of the 7 sliders seem to make any real difference, but luckily for me it was the 2 most important sliders for my tone. Yes it's made cheaply and is plastic but if you keep it permanently switched you'll hardly ever stomp on it so when people slate the product for this reason they really need to get a grip! For the price alone, buy it :)

I bought this to use with a synth set up that had a bit too much bottom end on some presets in a band context. It works very well and is of course exceptionally cheap compared to similar pedal brands. I’m sure it wouldn’t last long if you were kicking it about on a daily basis, but as part of a tabletop setup it’s great. No criticisms at all.

Very useful pedal - particularly in conjunction with a bass amplifier which needs a bit of help in the lowest half-octave (though the speaker needs to be capable of handling the extra low-frequency cone excursion). This is because the lowest slider is placed at 50Hz, just about ideal. However, do note that it's a bit noisy, so put it at the end of any chain of effect pedals, and you may need to turn the treble down a bit on the amplifier to control the hiss. Similar with its sister EQ pedal for guitars.

Wow one can make even a cheap bass copy sound respectable. Some noise from the unit so powered it from batteries which reduced the hum level but High frequency hiss is audibly present if your amp can reproduce lots of treble edge. If you use a bass amp for Juke box Bass boom boom sound the hiss will not be any problem. Give it a go you will not regret it

Does what it says on the tin (or box). I actually use it for guitar because I wanted to kill the high frequencies. Ok so it's plastic and you can't knock it around. You have to prise off the hinged pedal lid to get at the battery, but other than that it's great!

Good eq at a silly price. I use it in my project studio for synths & drum machines and only small amount of guitar work. So build quality/durability not an issue...

The main reason I bought this is that it was cheap. However, even for this price, the bulky plastic box is appallingly poor quality and it sticks up quite high from my pedal board. The pedal bends and flexes with even a gentle press of my foot. It certainly wouldn't be suitable for stage use. It's more for a budget studio in the home. Sound quality is reasonable although some of the sliders don't seem to adjust frequency all that noticeably. For the money, it does the job adequately.

Seems to work well, I do not get extra noise. Only using with 9v battery for now. For the cost it’s worth it.

I use this to fine tune room sound.. room boomy drop a little lows.. works. the only thing i miss is you cant feel when the faders are centered at 0

I am using it from last few months and I don't feel any issues with it. Overall sound quality is good and impressive. Only the bad thing is its made by plastic but as per the price its good enough.
