Don’t let the length discourage you!
Haven’t finished it yet as this is a big book, but I have enjoyed the first chapters. Very comprehensive so hang on!

Excellent intro for the layman
Well written, clear and accessible. A good introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine. Maybe a few more case studies would help understanding the subject matter.
