Look, I get it. They're staples. You're not here expecting drama, suspense, or a plot twist involving office supplies. But let me tell you — these aren’t just any staples. These are Rapesco staples. And that means something… probably. I bought these to staple carpet samples to my compliment slips. That’s it. That’s their whole role in my life. Do they do it well? Yes. Do they jam my stapler? No. Have they spontaneously combusted, held up a small tent, or fixed a classic car trim in a crisis? Not yet, but give it time, I live in hope. They're 24/8 mm of pure galvanised glory. Will they outlive me? Possibly. Do I need 5,000 of them? Not really not all at once — unless I start stapling everything that stands still for too long. And yet... I find myself oddly satisfied every time I press down the stapler and click — another sample neatly, confidently, attached. It’s the little wins, that make all the difference isn’t it? I wanted to re-staple some old 'pocket libraries' of 60 to 64 pages ('War Picture Library,' 'Sexton Blake Library,' etc.) where the original staple had completely rusted through, and feared that I would have to spend a considerable amount of money on a new stapler and staples for such a specialised job, but no, all that I needed, and all that you will need for similar jobs, is just one box of these staples, which work, or should work, with pretty much any stapler already in your possession. The specification of 24/8mm means that the staples are slightly thicker, and therefore stronger than similar staples, and the depth of 8mm, as opposed to the more common 6mm, means that they will go through more pages. I was able to re-staple my 'pocket libraries' with no problems whatsoever. One final point, be careful not to confuse 'pages' with 'sheets.' A sixty-four page booklet is comprised of sixteen sheets, printed on both sides and then folded over to give thirty-two sheets to be stapled through, and sixty-four pages of text. At first I was looking for a stapler and staples that would staple sixty-four sheets, until it finally dawned on me that I only needed to be able to staple thirty-two sheets, and I already owned a couple of generic staplers.

Took 2 weeks to come and then arrived like this. The box they come in has no seal or tape at any point, so the staples just fall out of both the top and bottom of the box. Poor packaging. Wouldn't order again.
