Would this be any good to route speaker cables in a car?

These rods would be of some use in routing cable in a car but they don't bend through sharp angles so wouldn't get around tight corners. I use a wire coat hanger for getting through big radius turns because it bends any way you like and doesn't break easily. The rods are great for long distances like pulling cable through stud walls from one floor of a house to another. Such as if you want to connect two TVs to the same Sky box without having the cable visible.

What is the width of these rods? Would the metal joiners fit through a 6mm hole?

5mm rods depends on the fitting you use at the end

Are these rods non-conductive?

Yes, we confirm this rod is non-conductive

Is it possible to attach a drill bit to the end of this? I’m trying to drill through the wooden beam between my first and ground floor

No and I think even if you could the rod would not stand the twisting torque. Try a flat bit with a flat wood bit extension. Screwfix have them as do many other outlets I should think. Don’t make the hole too big or you could weaken the beam.
