Casio Gents 52.00mm Solar Watch with Grey Analogue - Digital dial and Black Rubber Strap Strap GAW-100G-1AER

Already have the same watch with silver trim. One piece of advice re time setting, (I tried it this time as instructions on set up aren’t that clear), before doing anything else, go to the section re setting home city, in my case London, and set that FIRST!! I did that this time and everything just set itself. As for the watch, the light on this is the best on any Casio, fully lighting the complete face. The reverse display on the digital on the gold trim is not quite as easy to read at times as the normal display on the silver, but with auto light set this alleviates any problems. Being able to move the hands at the push of a button, so that you can clearly see digital display, then pushing the same button to return the hands to time position, means that no more will you have to struggle to see the stopwatch running time, etc. when hands are at a quarter to the hour. A classy looking watch with all the benefits of the G-shock range.

This is the 4th watch of this type that I have bought, the first in 2013, and they are still great. Casio have finally got the hand luminosity and backlighting correct. I bought this one from Amazon Warehouse and it came complete with the exception of the user manual which is useless anyway, much too small, the on line one is better. This one is larger and a bit more "blingy" than previous models but it has the same excellent performance. I have always maintained that these watches are the best "daily beaters" that you can buy and with the readability improvements, Casio have gone to a higher level. I mentioned that this is my 4th watch, that doesn't reflect on their reliability as I have sold on my first 2, fully working, for nearly as much as I paid.

Personally I found it a swine to set up but once I got there I absolutely love it. Fits nicely, looks good. Even with the lack of Scottish sun it stays charged. Cant comment on the waterproofing as I won't swim with a watch on!!

I love this watch. Great looking watch can be used as a casual watch or a dress watch. I don't find it too bulky or heavy as some say. The instructions were easy to follow and had it up and running in no time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the alarm. It is far too quiet! I can hold it next to my ear and can barely hear it and there seems to be no way to increase the volume. If anybody knows if it can be altered please let me know in the comments. Thanks

It’s a very good looking watch, so comfortable I sometimes forget I’m wearing it. Easy to set up and very accurate, thanks to the radio controlled time keeping. I build playgrounds and treehouses for a living and it’s been bashed and survived. I have yet to dive to 200m with but if it can survive bath times I’m sure it will be fine. My sons even like it so it must good. Stop wondering and buy it, you won’t regret it.

Having owned a number of Casio G shock watches and always wanted one that was solar powered and atomic clock accuracy, i chose this one. The module No.5444 is from 2017 and it's showing it's age. Compared to newer models, it takes a long time to charge to full capacity and the setting up is not easy. I downloaded the full user manual, the enclosed booklet is way too fine print to read in comfort. One point that i found a bit of an issue is the size of the case, it is huge and is a bit too big for my wrist. Excellent watch which needs a more modern module.

Bought this watch in October. I have worn it constantly since it arrived keeps perfect time, even changes automatically for day light saving. Nice good looking watch certainly very robust. I have not had a problem reading the smaller dials although I know others have. Instructions simple enough and easy to set up. I bought the watch for £77 pounds but note it is now nearly £100 still great value.

I like CASIO's. Rugged. Fits well. I mainly bought it because I'm tired of paying for batteries and having them fitted. That and it's my Favorite Color and Shade. I do not know about Water Resistance as I do not wear any of my watches in the shower or swimming. Instructions might be difficult if it's your CASIO. But once you set it up correctly, you're done. Just make sure it gets some sun. And when the time changes. Put it on the window sill.

Orologio bellissimo. Avevo paura fosse grande ma ha una dimensione perfetta. Molto preciso, sportivo ed elegante. La funzione della ricarica con la luce funziona alla perfezione. Non posso che raccomandare questo stupendo G-shock 😍

88 Euro ist für dieses Modell ein absolutes Schnäppchen ich hätte sie auch für 130 Euro gekauft. Verarbeitung, Design und Funktionalität ist ausgezeichnet 200m wasserdicht solar betrieben und sieht auch noch gut aus obwohl sie mit 53 mm Durchmesser erst recht groß erscheint ist sie aber dann am Handgelenk nicht schwer oder klobig also auch was für schmalere Handgelenke im großen und ganzen ne schöne stabile, moderne Uhr für jede Situation und jedem Ort Arbeit, Sport und Hobby.

Diseño elegante, funciona a la perfección. Se carga de forma solar y no necesita recambio de pilas, pues los modelos gshock a los 2 años se tienen que llevar al servicio tecnico de casio para cambiar la pila. Tiene cronometro, temporizador y alarmas. Se puede configurar con diferentes zonas horarias de forma facil y se cambia la hora de forma automatica segun el horario de verano/invierno. Tiene calendario y puedes ver la hora tambien en digital.

Die Uhr ist sehr schön. Mit dem Gold harmoniert auch das dunkle Display. Die Größe der Uhr finde ich auch angenehm. Der Preis von unter 90 Euro für eine funkgesteuerte Solaruhr auch gut. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen ist das Negativdisplay, was für meine in die Jahre gekommenen Augen sehr schlecht lesbar war. Deshalb ging sie auch zurück. Ich habe jetzt den selben Typ mit Pisitivdisplay. Optisch nicht so stylisch aber gut ablesbar.
