I am looking to scan the odd document very quickly. pfu support said to get in touch. how do i get in touch? what mobile scanner had you in mind?

You can get in touch with the PFU support through the Fujitsu website or the ScanSnap one. If you do not know the website, you can just write in your browser "Fujitsu scanner contact support". They will be able to help you choose the right scanner for you.

Will this work with Mac OS 11.2.1?

Not sure, the Mac that i'm using it on is running version 10.15.7 and it's fine. Sorry I can't be anymore helpful than that.

Is it possible to download set-up programs and drivers since i don't have dvd slot on laptop...

I don’t know. I used the cd that was with it and it took like two phases of downloading and in the next two days there were further updates and other downloading. It is a good scanner for scanning books. Not so efficient for scanning papers.

What is the format of the output files?

The output format for scans can be either pdf or jpg.
