Lovely for a mojito, no good for lime milkshake
I bought this to try to replicate the crusha lime milkshake for my boyfriend. This is a natural lime flavour not the artificial flavour he was hoping for and it curdles the milk after 10 minutes. But it is now mine for use in mojito cocktails, so i'm happy.

Tastes just like the mexican brand "jarrito" lime soda, popular since 1950 in Mexico and the USA!
Having read numerous scathing reviews of this flavour from Monin, I very nearly cancelled my order as the reviews suggested a poor and overly sharp lime taste perhaps only fit as a cocktail mixer. I couldn't disagree more. I think I tried every brand of premixed lime squash or cordial looking for a taste similar to Jarritos lime soda and was hugely disappointed with very one of them. I was reconciled to another poor example arriving at my door but was delighted to discover a very small amount (1 part syrup to 6-8 parts water) delivered EXACTLY the fresh lime soda taste that I had been seeking for more than 6 months. I recommend it highly as a still or sparkling drink with water or a perfect mixer with vodka, in a margarita or similar cocktail. I'm not even a fan of Monin syrups, the taste of most tried with coffee has been unsatisfactory at best. However this lime syrup is spot on in my opinion and I really can't fault it. If you like an authentic , fresh but not overly tart lime flavour I'm confident you will be very happy with this syrup!

Not sweet, but a strong flavour, a bit sour.
Fab fast delivery and we'll packaged, no problems there. However the taste is this syrup is super sour in my opinion. Too sour to add to sparkling water or to make into ice pops. I read other reviews saying it was quite sweet so thought I'd give it a go, but it was too sour for me. Thankfully my husband found it ok to drink when mixed with a bit of monin raspberry.
