Cinelli Anti-Vibration Under Tape Handlebar Gel Cushion Kit, Clear, Pair

Was skeptical at first but I am converted. Eince getting these wrist and arm pain has gone away even on longer rides. Obviously absorbs some of the shock of bad roads as intended. Easy to wrap under bar tape and very sticky backing. Good value as look as though they will last a long time.

Came quickly and dead easy to fit, but I would have liked a little thicker and wider as I have L/XL hands so they dont cover my contact points entirely. They have reduced my numbness a little on long rides, but not as much as I had hoped.

Really good product. Put these on the handlebar tops behind the brake levers (I ride a lot on the hoods and the heel of my hand often gets sore) and on the top of the lower drops (where hand goes for descending / braking). Has made bars so much more comfortable. You can cut and shape them too!

The Cinelli gel strips do provide some additonal comfort but are too narrow to be fully effective. The contact patch with your hand is small. Approximately only 12mm of the strip is full thickness gel, the rest tapers out to the overall 25mm width. In my opinion they should ideally cover or wrap around at least half of the circumference of the bar rather than just sit on it as a pronounced high spot.

These inserts are great, they make the bar much more comfortable. I used them along with another set of gel inserts on a road bike handlebar.

Does the job, very comfortable.

As someone who spends weekends on long rides through urban landscapes, I can't recommend anti-vibration handlebar gel straps enough—they're a lifesaver! Despite using padded gloves, hand numbness after hours of cycling has been the single most frustrating issue for me. It’s likely due to my bike setup (Canyon Roadlite, flatbar handle), which I’ve adjusted over two to three years through trial and error rather than having it professionally done. These gel straps have added enough vibration damping to make longer rides much more manageable. While they won’t completely eliminate vibrations, they provide a significant boost in comfort—at least based on my experience over the past two years (both hot and cold seasons). For anyone seeking relief during extended rides, this could be the solution to keep you pedaling longer and enjoying the journey.
