Noxzema Classic Clean Classic Clean Original Deep Cleansing, 12 oz

Great product. Been using it for 30 years since I first complimented a friend on his complexion and he told me the face-wash routine he used with Noxema. Been using it ever since and would never change it. Now I get compliments on my complexion, and have for years. Great stuff.

This took me back down memory lane. Felt great and my skin was clean. Loved it.

So this item arrived on time, and in Lightning fast record for me (personally!) .. Absorbs really well, easily removed with luke-warm tepid water (along with my conjac sponge -- Easy peasy lemon squeezy!)..and I use it as a leave-in conditioning cream for my face and my hair overnight too. No more tiny red spots near to scalp and hairline! It's still early days to do a thorough indepth review. But mark my words once I've given this a good 28 days (as with all new skin emollients / oils and creams for the face area) then I'll be back to give my true-blue honest thoughts on the matter. But I kid you not. No word of a lie. I woke up this morning with Fresh Face (glowing) and my beard even seems softer and healthier looking? Tiny red spots / redness and discolouration nearest to my mouth and chin have faded already!! I Mean. Wtf? I've never used a product which worked so quickly overnight!! I Knew Eucalyptus oil would be beneficial for my skin tone and blemish prone skin type. But wowza what a lovely surprise to wake up and look in the mirror and my skin looked GOOD for a change! :) Super happy so far. Like other reviewers, I have used this since age 16 living in the US, and am now 57. It works if you have spots, it works if your skin is dry, it basically really really works. I too have had trouble getting it over in the UK and have received fakes or diluted products as others have shown. This one is the real thing and I attach photos so you can see what it should be like. Firstly it was shrink wrapped for protection. They don’t normally get sold in shops like this but full marks to the seller for keeping the product safe. Opened, the product is firm, not at all watery. I’ve got photos showing it as first opened (a little had stuck to the lid) and also after a wipe with the face cloth. You can see how it stays firm. Final photo holding the jar upside down. The product should stay put. Real Noxzema does not pour at all. You shouldn’t get watery separation either. So this seller UKFL, has sold me the real Noxzema and now I’m going to buy a few more to stock up.

I've been using Noxzema since I was 11 (over 40 years). In the U.S., it was recommended by dermatologists for teenage acne (think it still is). My mother also found that whenever she asked women with good skin (in the U.S.) what they used, the answer was almost always Noxzema. It's very different from cold cream in texture, & is also noncomedogenic (won't block pores). It takes a little getting used to (for the first 4-7 days it will tingle), &I've had some in the UK try to put me off it; but wouldn't be without it. I use it to wash (with face cloth & warm water) & also to moisturiser after patting my face dry. It's great to have on hand for sunburn & insect bites too (cooling & soothing). I read somewhere that Christina Aguilera uses it. I'm not surprised. I never had teenage acne (just the odd spot here & there) and am regularly complimented on my skin & lack of wrinkles. Have tried more expensive products, but always return to Noxzema - the expensive products just don't deliver results anywhere near as effectively, in my opinion; proving (at least to me) that more expense doesn't always buy a better product.. I would add that this product should arrive stiff (it needs to be scooped out). If scooped out with wet fingers or kept for awhile in a high temperature, it will 'curdle' & go watery. This is normal & doesn't make the product unusable (although I WOULD recommend pouring out excess liquid, mixing well with a clean knife or stick, & placing in a fridge for awhile - it won't return the cream back to its original state, but will help).

This feels really nice, cooling and soothing on the skin itself. It absorbs easily after removing make-up and doesn’t leave the skin feeling greasy. HOWEVER, I would urge caution using this to remove your mascara or eye make-up ! I did wonder if it was a good idea to use anything containing eucalyptus oils on the eyes but a make-up remover is a make-up remover I thought, so instead I trusted the label. Bad idea. Unfortunately it stung like hell and being temporarily incapacitated by the experience , I had to forgo my usual bed-time reading that night. Just use it to remove foundation, blusher or face powder.

Best cream ever. Had it when I was a teenager 60 years ago. My sister also and my son. Now, my grandson.

I have used this as a face wash for 50+ years and have purchased several times online. The product should be a stiff thick consistency but this latest purchase was awful. At least one of the jars had a loose lid and had leaked everywhere. It was almost in liquid form. When I ordered 3 jars earlier this month the est. delivery date was 2nd week Jan to early Feb (seemingly a new shipment from the USA??). However that suddenly changed to “immediate” and it seemed that a few jars of “old” stock had suddenly been found!! I hope I can buy online again but I am not going to accept substandard stock!

Love Noxzema. I have never used soap on my face in over 35 years. I always wash morning and night with Noxema. I am over 55 and strangers have guessed my age to be mid 30's...seriously. The big jar so not really travel convenient unless you have a large suitcase but you can get smaller travel size.

(Update: Really learned to value this as a face mask before going to bed. After washing your face apply thick layer on the skin and leave it on for at least 15min (I leave it on for 30-45min). When it has slightly dried but is still damp enough I massage my face one more time to even out the application. During the application the eucalyptus and camphor will give you an amazing cooling sensation. Finally rinse of well and enjoy soft and super fresh skin.) I bought this for my husband as he does race cycling and needed a chafing cream. With original sports chafing creams being unreasonably expensive we looked for an alternative and I found this one suggested in an old cycling blog. This product is actually a cleansing cream (to apply, rub in and then rinse off) before going to bed/to remove makeup, but it does a very good job as chafing cream too. It contains eukalyptus and thus is slightly cooling. My husband so far is very satisfied using it as an effective chafing cream (he applies to prone to chafing areas it before going on long rides). As it's a quite big pot it'll last for quite some time too. If he ever gets tired of it, I still can use it to remove makeup. Satisfied. Glad we found

It was wrspped so well it took ages to get undone. The cream is fantastic. I used it to clean my face, and it felt so nice and tingly from the menthol.
