Great Clothes Moth Deterrent!
I've been using the cedarwood balls for the past few years in my wardrobe as a moth deterrent. So far they have proved to be effective as I thankfully haven't had any of my clothes damaged by moths. I do own a lot of clothes and for me clothes moths are always a major concern. You can also buy a separate spray to refresh the cedarwood balls when the smell starts to fade. The smell does tend to stick to clothes but to me this is preferable to finding moth holes in them. I always try not to put anything away for a length of time without first washing it. Also I would hang certain items out on the garden clothes line for the purpose of airing them.

Great product that works well and doesn't leave an old person musty smell behind.
Since putting these in a few days ago i have now noticed a few dead moths in my cupboard. Surprising as i didn't know i had any and had bought these as a preventative measure as London is rife with them! It is worth noting that i use these with the sticky traps with hormones now so i can measure how many are actually being caught.

Great product! Comes up small.
I ordered these cedar balls to stick along my windowsill to repel spiders and they are perfect. They're visually nice and not at all an eye-soar! Come smaller than expected, marble-sized when I expected a ping-pong ball size but not an issue!

Not sure if they work
Mine's do not have a scent to them. I bought them to use between my folded clothes which are stored away. These balls are only suitable for drawers or shelves. They are quite small. I've put them among my clothes in drawers and the clothes seem fine for now. I have just noticed it says to replace the balls every 6-12 months or purchase the refresher spray so they are not long lasting. I will probably have to buy the spray as replacing is not cost effective.

I am not sure about this product
I bought two packs of this balls several months ago and with great excitement I put them into different shelves in my wardrobe. (I also have cedar hanger and other hanging in the same wardrobe but in the hanging area). I felt heart-broken and desperate (what else can I get for my wardrobe?) when I found a moth hole on my favourite cashmere sweater a few days ago. And I found an almost same size and shape hole on another cotton (does moth feed on cotton?) T-shirt today. These two clothes are place on the same shelve. And actually they are frequently used and washed, so the moth must be quite active in that area? Maybe I have not put enough balls there? It was 3 balls in that area which is of size about 20x40x60cm. Does anyone find this product effective from own experience? If you do could you please let me know how did you use them? Also, does one need to polish these balls, say using sandpaper, after a certain time? What should I do since I now know for sure I got moth in the wardrobe? Do I need to clean the whole wardrobe and check all the clothes? Thanks in advance for your replies!
