KONG - Naturals Catnip Spray for Cats - 1 Fluid Ounce

My cats go absolutly nuts with this and love it . Even my dog wants it when he smells it on the cats toys

Ideal for cat play or to reduce cat stress, just 1 spray is ideal on a toy or bedding.

Although this didn't send my cats and kittens wild like other catnip toys/sprays I've purchased, it did however do the trick with two kittens that just would not get along. I was fed up with all of the hissing and growling, fighting over toys and food ect (even though there was more than enough to go around) so I thought I'd give this spray a chance due to all of the positive reviews. This worked almost instantly and within five minute both kittens were scrapping around with the toys and car pole together, I'll admit that a few little growls and raised paws were displayed but nothing like I'd seen before. I sprayed this on all of their old toys and their scraping posts, I also sprayed a little on an old pair of shoes that the kittens love to play hide and seek in. I must say that this is a little pricey but you really don't need that much to have the desired effect, I only sprayed two or three squirts on most of the larger cat toys and just one squirt on their teddies and it did the job. They've played for a good while now and are just beginning to settle down so it's a great result for me. I rated this product a star less because there are other catnip sprays which are bigger and cheaper that have the same effects if not better! Still a good buy though because it does what you'd expect :-)

Our cats went crazy for this KONG catnip spray. It's only a small bottle but worth it.

I bought this from an Amazon marketplace seller as it seemed better value than similar (cheaper) versions available on eBay. Unfortunately, while eBay sellers helpfully list the bottle as 30ml, for some bizarre reason Amazon describes the item as 60g. Nowhere on the bottle is the weight of the contents listed and under "product information" the shipping weight is listed as 23g. I have just weighed the bottle sent to me and it comes in as a little less than 45g. So where 60g has come from I have no idea. This has been reported to Amazon as, for the avoidance of doubt, this bottle comes in at only 30ml.Since arrival I have sprayed my cat's new scratching tower (post and bed) and a separate bed he previously had no interest in whatsoever. He seems to be able to smell the catnip and had a lick at the wet layer of spray, but it seems to have had no real affect. Each cat will be different in this regard, but for mine I wouldn't bother to re-order. The smell to me is slightly minty with an earthy undertone. After letting the spray sink in the smell mostly disappears (to my senses) so you wouldn't really notice it after the first few minutes. It seems to work well for others so I've not marked it down too much, but it's clearly not for everyone

this is good catnip , my cats have sampled many other brands , most of which they have totally ignored , but this one never fails to interest (!) them & is now the only one i bother buying

WOW this spray catnip is brilliant I have tried quite a few other brands but KONG sent my 4 cats into happiness they reacted immediately it's a shame you can't get this in much bigger sizes

This acts as a repellent for my Ragdoll. She runs away from anything that has this scent. Shame as she usually loves catnip.

My cat Fifi goes crazy for catnip, and this KONG catnip spray has been my liquid catnip product of choice for years! It may seem expensive for such a tiny bottle, but you have to remember that herbal extracts require many pounds of herb per ounce of fluid extracted... thus increasing the price. KONG's catnip spray is super concentrated, which is a big part of why I love this product so much. (No joke, be careful how much you spray in an enclosed space, or be ready to smell it for 10-15 minutes!) I only have to spray it on one of Fifi's toys a couple of times for her to enter her crazy-for-catnip mindset. It's absolutely hilarious to watch! If your kitty loves catnip, then definitely give this product a try! It's a great way to peak your cat's interest in other toys that don't contain catnip, or even to encourage your cat to use a cat tree or scratching post. All in all, it's a great tool for both play and teaching!
