I needed to replace a window handle that had jammed locked and once I managed to release it, I realised it would jam again once closed. I managed to release it by sliding a Stanley knife blade into the tiny space between the part of the handle that turns and the handle base that is fixed to the window. This replacement fitted perfectly, took two minutes to fix into place and needed no adjustment at all. I appreciate that a replacement tries to cover a multitude of possibilities, so some people will have needed to saw down the centre spindle to length or use previous screws to fix in place. For me, it was a like for like replacement. The only difference is the key. It should be OBVIOUS (but for some reviewers it isn't), that not all locks have the same key. What would be the point in having a locking key if it was that easy? So I now have one window with a different locking key. A small price to pay for a brand new lock that cost under £3 and is a quality product with a new Yale key!

Emm I don't know if the product had a Quality inspiration ? But the coating wz CHIPPED AT THE TOP but I've still used it Thanks 🤔 White nail varnish will do the trick but only when my Wife gets some. 🤪😏😜
