This is one of those vitamins where you don’t really feel anything when you take them. I go with this brand cause I’ve had plenty of success with there other vitamins. I took it at night before bed but It’s best to take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to get your day going. ALA helps turn nutrients into energy so if you take it in the morning before exercise it’s a plus. It also lowers blood sugar which is one of the reasons why I take it. Update: I use to take this at night before bed so I didn’t really feel much. I tried taking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. When I did my fasted cardio in the morning i did feel different. I felt my body warm up quicker as I did cardio, and I started sweating a lot more. I’d like to think it’s helping me burn more calories. Usually when I’m eating carbs in my diet I start sweating at about 25 mins into the light cardio when I’m on Keto I start sweating about 15 mins into the light cardio. By taking this stuff in the morning I felt my body start to sweat in the parking lot of my gym before I even got on the cardio machine. I was very surprised. This is good stuff to get you going in the morning. I don’t think it would work well if you took it with food. Empty stomach before you exercise is the way to go. If you struggle with energy in the gym this Will definitely help you.

I'm not sure how long you should take this to see if it works well. I bought this for my husband because our Dr suggested it would help with his neuropathy. He took it for several months without any noticeable improvement.
