I bought this safe as it was on sale because there was a recall on my other safe (Awesafe, and they never bothered to reply). Not only is this safe cheap, but it is super functional. The screen is a nice touch, don't really care for it but it's there. The passcode is 6 digits and the fingerprint sensor is extremely responsive. Another thing I like about the fingerprint sensor is that even if you miss the mark with your finger you can retry and it will instantly re-read your print. My previous safe would have me waste precious seconds for a retry. The safe is very quiet when it opens and you have the option to mute the beeping sound. Set up is really easy. It's a press or hold for setup. You can plug it in a power source or have it run on the batteries. There's also a wire that you can run through your safe and attach to a piece of furniture (in case you don't feel like screwing in your safe) Ample space inside with some lighting, I am able to fit 2 compacts and a spare mag for each. Overall, extremely satisfied with this safe and considering it was on sale, I'm glad I didn't pass it up. Will buy again should the need for another safe arise.

I finally decided to buy this one, most of the reviews were positive but there were some that complained about sometimes fingerprint not reading and not opening. Sometimes reviews can be confusing as the feedback is mostly given within few days to few weeks, feedback focus on shipping, delivery, customer service these are all great, what about quality durability, can the product last? so my review will include how the product is functioning after a year. I agree with the reviews this product is great, good quality, looks and feels great, love the blue light. I do not have any issue with using fingerprint to open it, I did experience few times where it did not open but is mainly when you do not place your finger properly, either too fast or your finger is in an angle where it did not read. I place finger properly and opens immediately. I have been using this gun safe box to store my Sig Sauer 9mm, fits perfect, never fails to open, works great. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I do recommend if anyone is skeptical. Helps me feel comfortable gun is in safe place from my kids.

I spent hundreds of hours over the past 3 months watching YouTube reviews, reading specs, and trying to find the perfect travel/nightstand pistol safe. Hopefully, you benefit from my overthinking and save yourself a little time. Yes, there are more premium safes with better materials, multiple locking points, or even reinforced anti-theft construction. But after going way overboard (as I always do), I made peace with finding something solid, reliable, and reasonably priced. The HOLEWOR Biometric Gun Safe with LCD display hit the mark for me. It's not the best, and far from the worst — but it checks the boxes I cared about most. ✅ Key Features I Like: Biometric fingerprint scanner (quick, accurate, and reliable) Digital passcode entry (up to 6 digits) Manual override key LCD screen with temperature and humidity display Voice/tone prompts for confirmations Time display Solid build with a qualitative feel and weight Spacious enough for full-size pistols + accessories 🔐 Use Case & Fitment: I bought this for nightstand use to provide quick access to my: Springfield XDM 9mm with Olight Baldr Pro 3 extra mags CR123 battery case (with 2 batteries) It fits everything comfortably with a bit of room to spare — though I chose not to clutter it to keep access clean and fast. Bonus: It also fits my HK VP9 with the same light attached. Yes — both pistols fit at the same time. You could squeeze in some extra mags, but then it starts to clutter and your are putting stuff on top of your pistols which defeats the quick access nature of this safe. If you're looking for quick retrieval, I’d suggest ensuring you have proper spacing and don't clutter this box. Just because there is space doesn't mean you have to fill it. ⚙️ Setup Experience: Setup was fast and intuitive: I skipped the generic AA batteries and used 4x Energizer name-brand AAs Programming took under 2 minutes Inside the lid are 3 small holes: Insert the provided pin tool into the one you want to program: Fingerprint, Passcode, or Time/Voice Fingerprint: Tap the scanner 3 times with the same finger Passcode: Enter up to 6 digits A green light + tone confirms success To set the Time, use the pin to insert and quick press the time button. You will see the Time numbers blink. You can then use the keypad to enter the time. Press the Time again (or maybe it will auto save after a certain time. I wasn't patient enough to wait) and the time is saved. You will see the Colon blinking then its' out of time set mode. I added 4 fingerprints (index fingers and thumbs from both hands). I tested each one at different angles, and the safe opened quickly every time — unless I totally botched finger placement (my own fault, not the scanner). However, as long as my finger was close (didn't have to be perfect) it read my fingerprint and the lid opened very quickly. 🛠️ Minor Notes / Suggestions: The lid has a single locking point — don’t expect Fort Knox. It’s a deterrent and secure enough for general access control. Would be great if HOLEWOR offered a dual-locking mechanism or an upgrade path. The voice prompts are handy but could use a volume toggle. Fingerprint scanner is great — just make sure you register fingers properly and test using multiple angles to confirm reliable access. I picked this up to keep my M&P 2.0 and my 642-2 secure but close by on the nightstand. With kids around, I needed something safe but quick to open just in case. It’s a solid box that does exactly what I need without being overly complicated to set up. Pros: • The emergency USB-C port is a huge lifesaver. If the battery dies and you happen to lose the physical keys, you can just plug it into a power source and still use your fingerprint to get in. • It easily fits both my 9mm and my .38 special with a little room to spare for extra ammo. • The fingerprint scanner is super fast, and it's great that you can mute the beeping so it opens silently in the dark. Cons: • The interior LED light and the front screen display only stay on for about 10 seconds. I kind of wish they stayed lit just a bit longer. • It only comes with two screws for hard-mounting. You might need to supply a bit of your own hardware if you want to really bolt it down permanently to a heavy piece of furniture. Overall, it's a sturdy, well built little safe that gives me peace of mind. It’s definitely worth it if you’re looking for a reliable, quick-access spot for a couple of everyday handguns. And at the price point, it’s a good pick up.
