Modula Java Bottle Cage

Had trouble finding a cage to take a Contigo and fit a small framed bike. Slight modifications (probably voiding the warranty) and viola, Contigo fits perfectly. Strong robust design and cheaper than its rivals. Looks good too, stylish and adjustable.

Well made with a good range of adjustment for most drinks containers . The only drawback is the mounting rail is a little thick and makes it sit out a little far from the tube if you are using two bottle cages. Also while the plastic is sturdy it may not be up for hard core travelers that may give it real abuse. The cage has a strap for securing your drinks container but isn't needed for road and gentle trails.

This is really secure and adjustable. However the width of the plastic cage interfered with my front derailleur on my hybrid bike so I could never select the easiest gear. I had to cut away some of the plastic to let me derailleur pass all the way close to the frame. Also, it holds big bottles, but is not big enough for my 1 litre wide mouth stainless steel camping bottle, which I had hoped fo.

Great cup holder, which expands to accommodate different size hot drink cups. Will also hold large takeaway fizzy drink cups.

My only complaint is the yellow logo, I would prefer it to be completely black.

While initially I thought this would be a great option for a downtube mounted waterbottle cage, and indeed it was, the bottle was held very securely. That was until I forget it was there, and went over a log, heard a crunch but ignored it and lost a perfectly good bottle and the clip part of this. Fine in that position if touring on road or you're a very conscientious mountain biker. Just not that unhappy valley between the two where I land.

Love this carrier. Have used various sizes of bottles and they have all fitted securely. Just make sure you remember to tighten the screw after you've finished with it's use as i almost lost mine.
