This unit doesn't get great reviews on Amazon but took a chance based on the size of the company and its other good products. Its actually very well made with a solid (and loud sounder) and a substantial keypad. Window switches and the PIRs are easy to install and work well. Where the unit is let down is with its crazy and useless infographic instructions these just confuse and once I realised that there was a full instruction manual on the Honeywell website everything became easy and straight forward. Fitted in half a day including an additional 6 window sensors purchased on Ebay at a great price and which were really easy to link up to this unit. Once you read the instructions this is a great DIY installation alarm with no wires giving a really neat and flexible installation. Would definitely buy it again but would throw the enclosed manual away without opening it and go straight to the full version available online.

As some have mentioned the instructions that came in the box were pretty rubbish. No written text to them so hard to follow. We found the online instructions in the Honeywell website and used those. In the end it was pretty much plug and play as everything comes pre configured. We changed some of the sensors to different zones which was a challenge as the instructions are very sketchy. But we managed after setting the alarm off a few times! If your not confident fiddling around with this type of thing then this may not be for you. However even if you have little knowhow, if you don’t want to change zones that sensors are set up on as default and just want something to install and it works this will probably fit the bill. Overall pretty pleased now it’s sorted.

I was worried to purchase this product as the reviews where very bad. But I decided to take the leap and have faith that it was more of the user and not the product. Quality of product was very good. The box it was presented in was also very nice. The alarm system was easy to instal but the instructions internally supplied where hard to make sense of. If you download the instructions it will be easier. In a nut shell the alarm system is pre set so all you need to do is take it out, set it all into position and then pull battery tags out. This needs to be done individually and in program mode. Siren very loud and keypad was solid. Dont forget to take out plastic film on keypad so sensitivetvy can pick up easier. The delivery was super quick and packed well. The alarm was installed in a 3 bedroom semi by myself with zero idea on electric items. Only down part was siren battery box was broken on one side which may have happened in transit or if this product was sent back and re used. Overall happy with my purchase and felt it was very good value for the price. I will bring a further update in a month to check in and advise on the alarm further. Update 6th Aug: alarm has worked a treat with no problems. Would recommend.

I'd read a few bad reviews on this however decided to give it a try because most seemed to say it was due to the terrible quick start guide. Boy I wish I hadn't bothered! 1 - The door sensors trigger the alarm immediately on opening! According to the online manual these should be set to zone c which should allow 30 seconds to dissarm. 2 - On trying to resolve the door sensor issues I decided to dissable the alarm otherwise the neighbours would be seriously miffed. The switch in the alarm to do this doesn't dissable it! 3 - Whilst the quick start guide isn't great, the manual is somewhat better, the manual doesn't give the correct information on how to correctly enter the service mode in order to take the alarm off the wall without it triggering the tamper alarm. I had to basically guess how to do it which was a combination of the quick start & manual! 4 - Service mode doesn't do what it's meant to and disable the tamper setting which meant that on taking the alarm off the wall it still went off! I really liked the touch panel and had it not been for these issues then it would have been a great piece of kit however it's really not worth the gamble. Honeywell is a really well known make however this system is around £70-£100 cheaper than other less known systems which probably tells it's own story!

The components in the system are all very neat and easy to install. The instructions are difficult to follow although there is a much fuller version you can download from the Honeywell website. I have configured zone 3 with a PIR but the instructions on how to do that were difficult to follow as the PIR needs to be deactivated from zone 2 first and then reconfigured to zone 3. Getting the external siren activated also took a bit of working out but got there in the end. The control panel is neat but sometimes needs a couple of touches on the buttons to activate them, not a huge issue. The fobs and remote appear to work well. I see there is a comment about having the remote in your pocket and accidentally setting something you weren't intending to, we will need to take care on that front. The external siren is loud although that is what's expected and the internal sounder is also loud enough when activated. Contacted the support regarding changing the PIR zones and they were very helpful but maybe wouldn't have needed to if the instructions were better. There are a few short videos from the Honeywell website and they are of good quality. Only time will tell how long the batteries last and I will be installing a USB power source to the control panel at some future date. The system as supplied is battery operated only. All in a decent system and one to consider especially as there is no disruption to any decoration and no cables to install. Would have given it 4 stars if instruction had not let it down a bit. Should have added that I purchased the HS331 and added a couple of PIR's (5 in total on the system for a 3 bedroom house) and a remote which works out cheaper than purchasing the HS351 which has more in the kit.

Ich habe diese Set für meine Gartenlaube gekauft, nachdem ich verschieden Systeme in dieser Preiskaterogie verglichen habe. Ich kann jedem empfehlen, wie bereits mehrfach geschrieben wurde, das komplette Handbuch herunterzuladen, da die beigefügte Kurzanleitung eher verwirrt als hilft. Die eigentliche Installation geht dann eigentlich recht zügig von statten, da alle Teile wie Bewegungsmelder, Kontaktschalter bereits vor konfiguriert sind. Auch sehen die Komponenten ziemlich hochwertig aus. Gefallen hat mir auch, dass man bei Verschraubung der Türkontaktschalter sowie des Bewegungsmelders keine Schrauben sieht. Was mir nicht gefallen hat, war die Installation der Außensirene. Dies war für mich schlicht unmöglich, alle Infos aus dem Netz halfen nicht und brachte mich fast zur Verzweiflung. Zum Glück rief ich die Hotline an, die mir freundlich und kompetent hierbei geholfen hat. (Totalreset der Außensirene, der nirgendwo beschrieben wird) Die Erreichbarkeit war top!!! Aber irgendwie hatte ich auch das Gefühl, dass das Problem mit der Sirene bekannt war ;-) Die Anlage läuft seitdem absolut zufriedenstellend und es gab bisher kein Fehlalarm. Das recht ansehnliche Bedienpaneel hat meines Erachtens den Nachteil, dass man nicht den Betriebszustand erkennt, ob nun die Anlage z. B. scharfgeschaltet ist. Folgende Punkte sind mir weiterhin aufgefallen: + komplettes Einsteigerset einschließlich aller Batterien (Markenprodukt) + Außensirene sieht ordentlich aus und erinnert nicht an einem Spielzeug, die Lautstärke überzeugt + Zubehör gibt es auch in einer Baumarktkette, falls man dringend etwas benötigt - nicht von der Lautstärke einstellbarer Bestätigungsgong, der u. U. den Nachbarn aufgrund der Lautstärke ärgern könnte - der interne Alarmton des Bedienteils ist zwar laut, hört sich aber billig an - ohne Bedienungsanleitung geht nichts Hilfreich für die Bedienung war für mich noch der Kauf einer Funkfernbedienung.

Davvero un ottimo prodotto per la sicurezza della casa, ero un po’ scettico prima dell’acquisto ma appena arrivato vedendo la qualità dei materiali e la composizione del kit sono rimasto subito soddisfatto. Installazione molto veloce e intuitiva, davvero un ottimo prodotto per chi cerca un sistema di allarme per la propria abitazione. Unica sita dolente è il manuale d’uso reperibile solo online, avrebbero potuto inserirlo nella confezione. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Prodotto più che consigliato

Come installatore, ho acquistato questo prodotto per fare un piacere ad un amico, che voleva mettere un allarme economico alla sua tavernetta! Il prodotto a mio avviso va bene come dissuasore per "ladri di polli" arriva tutto preconfigurato, ma di confurato c'è poco, la centrale ha una programmazione abbastanza semplice ed intuitiva, ma allo stesso tempo stupida, alcuni parametri si configurano sotto forma di test, insomma se non siete pratici non pensiate di prendere il kit e installarlo in 5 minuti. La fattua è di qualità mediocre, ho visto prodotti peggiori a prezzi più alti! La sirena interna è ridicola, mentre quella esterna è dignitosa. Il resto della sensoristica a mio avviso sembra povera di tecnologia raffinata. La centrale non ha combinatore telefonico! Insomma non usatelo per la protezione di una casa, ideale per box e taverne!
