Nice drawing pencil
I've always liked Faber Castel, I've used them for years and they have never failed or disappointed me. Nice positive spring action and excellent stability. The graphite 'lead' is nice too... nice and smooth to draw with.

Usual Faber-Castell high quality
Brilliant clutch pencil...I'm gradually building up my collection of pencils for art....This has been reached for lots when drawing due to high quality lead, comfort in use and shade/softness of graphite.

This is great!
I only recently came across this 3mm Clutch pencil and its amazing 6B lead, I use it constantly. I have now virtually given up pencils in favour of clutch pencils with the wide variety of refill leads that are available. They do not need constant sharpening either. Brilliant!

Very practical mechanical pencil

Good pencil as long as you don't use too much pressure
doesn't work as flawlessly as the other mechanical pencils in this range. I love these pencils however the 6B version is wider with a thicker lead and can break inside the pencil if too much pressure is used. Don't let this put you off though as these are probably the best mechanical pencils on the market and as long as you don't go too hard on this pencil it will work fine.

Faber Castell no longer shows this lead and holder as being available on there website. If you buy the 6B you might get plenty of extra refills since they will probably not be available in the near future. I bought this to have a little darker lead than I have with the Staedtler 4B 2 mm lead from my Staedtler 2mm set. When comparing the two. The Faber Castell 6B and the Staedtler 4B seem to be the exact same as far as how dark the markings on the the drawing paper. With that being the situation. There is really no reason for me to even own this pencil. Other than that both the lead and holder are quality items.

La línea de portaminas Faber Castell de 2mm tiene un excelente peso, la ergonomía es muy buena, no tiene clip, lo cual para los dibujantes es bueno porque no te lastima la mano si estás dibujando largo tiempo. Se siente más robusto que el staedtler, aunque es de plástico. Súper recomendable
