Will this basket fit into my 5 quart lodge round Dutch oven?

The fry basket is top quality, commercial grade. The dimensions are: 9-1/2 inches across the top , 7-1/4 across the bottom, 5-3/4 high.Its 18 inches from the end of the handle to the drain hook.Hope this helps.

What size pot would you use for this? It seems as if it were not deep enough, the handle sticking out would keep it from going all the way down.

8 1/2 INCH Pot, basket is 5 inches deep, handle is one inch above basket. Hope this is helpful, works great

does this a removable handle?

No it doesn't and it doesn't have a hook on front so you can let it hang to drain the grease

These appear to be very well made. Time will tell how they hold up. They are a smidge long for our Dean fryers. Some pliers on the front hook took care of that. They hang well and mostly fit in the basin. The price for the quality is impressive. I will try to follow up after a couple months.
