This is absolutely perfect for travel! I use a large crimper while at home but didn’t want to tote it for travel, so I purchased this item and it works great! I have very long hair and it was super easy to use and fast. It did not damage my hair but instead created perfect waves.

I have medium length hair. I love this product so much that I bought another one to keep as a spare for when my first one dies. It gives beautiful natural looking curls in the hair - different than a crimper or a curling iron would do. Perfect for second or third day hair which has lost some of its natural curl from sleeping on it, throw in a few of these waves and it looks great! The only thing is that the pink coating wore off inside on the iron (where your hair goes) very shortly after buying it. It doesn't seem to affect the working of this unit, maybe decreased its ability to curl a little bit. But I still absolutely love it and the fact that the barrels are each only 1/2-inch wide instead of most of these irons where they are 1-inch. For medium length hair, 1-inch is too wide.
