Thinner than expected. Protects the book cover from water/ dust etc. not much of a mechanical protection. Difficult to apply unless you’re very careful and methodical. Overall good value for money. I would give 5stars if it were a bit thicker.

A sticky customer!!
I have covered hundreds of books with sticky back plastic in the past but trying to use this one was hopeless - it is thin, it sticks to itself and it creases when you remove the backing, however carefully you remove the backing as you go along. The creases then remain on the cover of the book. I nearly ruined an expensive book trying to cover it with this stuff. I would not but this again, and I would recommend it to anyone. It is worth spending a little extra to get good quality.
