A must buy for the safety of your reptile! Had this installed in a 4 foot wooden viv for a few years, it is excellent. Exactly as advertised

Fits a 200W bulb very nicely in my corn snake's tank. Easy to install and very secure, my Bruce is quite thick (physically and mentally), nearly 6ft long and quite strong and is not able to open it at all. Very secure, although I did end up moving the clips from one on opposite side of the hatch to just one clip on the side opposite the hinges to make access a little easier for me but if you have a smaller snake, I would leave them on each side to ensure there's no gaps for itty bitty noodles to get through. Looks nice and sleek and doesn't take away from the overall appearance of his viv and Bruce doesn't seem to mind it at all, at least he's never said otherwise.

Fits my ceramic lamp perfectly and the wire slot is small enough that I don't need to worry about my snakes getting into it. Came with screws and was easy to drill in, however there are sharp pieces of wire sticking out on the outside, definitely fixable with wire cutters in my case, but would hate for somebody's snake to get caught on them.

Sturdy, well made and easy to fit! Bought as got a new smaller snake and he’s a bit of an explorer! This has kept him out!

This is a great heater guard if you have a large vic that requires a larger bulb. I use this for a 150 watt ceramic bulb ams is great. It's surprisingly good for not getting to hot itself ams was easy to foot.
