Worked in my woodstove after a week of fires and cold temps, very nice! Worth the time.

I have an older fireplace and my bricks were in bad shape. I had put off buying and replacing them as I thought that would be a bit difficult. I watched some YouTube videos and decided to take this project on. These bricks were a little more heavier than what people were saying on YouTube (they were still very light since I am more familiar to the standard motor brick weight). I did have to cut a few bricks to make it work. That was not a problem. I was able to use my jig saw and cut right through them. They did not crumble at all. I installed the new bricks on the backside and the floor. It looks great and was inexpensive. I can't wait to use the fireplace this winter. Overall, it was a simple and successful repair project.

Easy to install; easy to cut! I used an old bread knife! Stove seems to be burnin wood more efficiently! First time replacing original bricks, only had to cut 1/4" from one brick!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

½ of the bricks were broken but I don't know whether it was from the factory or due to UPS shipping. We promptly received a replacement that was delivered by the postal service this time. They were all intact and expected quality.

Fist thing to note. These are not "bricks" they are a pressed composite material. You could cut them with a saw. If need be. Easy to work with and light. They work very well in my large wood stove. I have some pretty hot fires and they have not even changed color. I would recommend to anyone.

The Protalwell wood stove firebricks fit my stove perfectly. They were lighter than I expected, but are working perfectly.

They are light weight and hold heat better than the old clay firebricks. After installing them my fires lasted longer and I have less ash.

They are easy to install and worth more than there weight in gold

Everything seems pretty good about these fire bricks but I did have to shave one of them down to fit in place of the original bricks. However, that was easy to do just using the older concrete style bricks to grind it down. I will give an update later on as to how long these ones lasted compared to the old ones, but I typically only get about a year out of some of the other fire bricks that lay in the hottest areas of the stove. One thing I definitely do NOT like is how they put the price up right after I bought these so I will probably just buy my next ones locally. The only reason I bought them here was because they were cheaper than what I could get them at the store. Hopefully the seller will see this and drop the price back to where it was at. If they put the price lower, I would give them a five star review. All the bricks showed up very quickly. I think it was one or two days and there were no broken bricks. I’m in Canada.
