I was looking for a thermostat as our 30 year old Honeywell had seen better days, I read so many reviews on different thermostats and decided to settle on this one, its very easy to install and operate, it resembles the Honeywell and is exactly the same as another well known brand without the hefty price tag. So if you are looking for a basic two wire thermostat then this in my opinion is the one to consider.

This was to replace an expensive wireless thermostat when we moved house. It's a very basic thermostat which needs manually adjusting any time you want the temperature changed (eg when you go to bed or get up or go out). It's easy to install - it's just a simple make/break switch so needs no power supply. And it's easy to use - just turn the dial to the temperature you want your heating to achieve. But, if you're using it in your house, I would at least get a programmable one that you can set to turn up and down at different times of day. However, for the price, you can't complain

Neat and tidy, fits standard EU mounting holes, very easy to wire and looks good. Accuracy is good too. Much less than trouble than programmable units. Just set as you want & remember to turn it down when going to bed.

Easy to install, simple and functional however when the room reaches 20deg the dial cuts out at 15deg.

Simple mechanical stat that works brilliantly and gives complete control over your central heating , and all at a bargain price .

Bought this to replace a complicated electronic Dial Danfoss dial thermostat, which was very vague in it's temperature control [even with Chrono disabled] and would not maintain room temperature. This mechanical one was the answer, simple dial control, albeit 5 degrees out-ie 19 degrees shown on a thermometer is 24 degrees on the thermostat, this in mind is not a problem and its tolerance is around 4 degrees to switch. Easy fit [I have 2 wire system] to standard mounts. EDIT: I have given up on this as it is too vague, and bought a Digital One instead.
