Excellent, usual Makita
Great planer, the constant speed certainly improves the finish on hardwoods with multi direction grain. You can plane fast and it keeps the revs. It's heavy, made in the UK and never feels like it's struggling. I use it mainly for hardwood doors which it handles effortlessly. I've had a few well known planers but this is my favourite.
