work great and charge quickly for my vive wand. Better to get the bottom port completely plug in and work with a 5v/2a adapter. Easy installation, the magnetic connection easily to get charged. Simple look but hold and storage the wand compact. No need to leave too much USB cable while charging and keep desk from messes. Nicely Charger

This product really makes it easy and convenient to charge and store my controllers when I'm done using them. They just have the magnetic micro usb ends and they just go on the stand. The only thing that I didn't like about them was the plastic removal tool that they sent in the package and that they didn't send a usb brick with the product. I guess since I'm not going to be using the power bricks for my HTC Vive controllers that come in the box anymore, that last part is no big deal. They were able to remedy this other point by emailing me asking if there was anything that they could do for me to make my experience any better. They were willing to send me anything that I needed free of charge, including a replacement METAL removal tool as well as anything else that I might have needed, such as more proper instructions etc.. I can't comment on how fast they charge my controllers because I have not done any tests on it, but they are always charged when I go to use them. I do like how there is a switch on the cord to turn off the charging so if you don't want to over charge your controllers, you can still keep them on the stand while also plugged in without a worry. The only pain in the butt that I have now is that I have to take out the little tabs every time I have to update my controllers, which isn't a big deal considering how much time i save every time I put my system away. Overall great product and I would definitely recommend.

I was honestly incredibly disappointed with this product, in a quick summary its incredibly low quality and has sketchy tools and poor quality control. Looking at other reviews I saw a constant complaint of the back plastic board arriving scratched, and in my experience that's exactly how it arrives. It has a plastic sheet on one side to try to protect it, but mine arrived with tons of scratches on the unprotected side and even the protected side had scratches. So just some poor quality control there. The entire thing is made of really light, cheap feeling plastic, which is disappointing for $50. Since it's light it also means you have to hold the base down when removing the controllers, which is a tad annoying. The last problem I had was with the wireless charger remover tool. Being able to just set down the controller on the base and have it charge is really cool and worked very well. But the last straw for me was when I had to remove the heads to give the controllers a firmware update. The tool to remove these heads feels like a tool for something else entirely and was just thrown into this product just to technically have something that can remove the heads. It was fairly difficult to remove the heads, and the tool itself was staring to split in half after one round of removing the charging heads. I've already returned the charging station just because of how poor quality the entire thing is.

Had the product for a day. Went to remove one of the plugs with the removal tool how it showed to remove it in the manual. It broke. The base itself looks great and works great. The little magnetic plug has piss poor build quality. And to order just the magnetic plugs it'll take a whole month for delivery??

Does not work with protective guards

Overall, I have no regrets about this purchase. I was worried it would be poor quality, and it does feel cheap, but it seems to work really well. PROS: -Batteries seem to charge in a reasonable amount of time. -It looks really nice -Simple setup -Much more convenient than plugging the controllers in the normal way. The magnets make it nice and easy to charge. Just set your controllers down and they charge. Very simple. -I was worried that the little magnetic plugins would be fragile, and would break off in my charging ports, but after testing them, they're surprisingly resilient. CONS: - The magnetic plugins need to be pressed into the charging port very firmly. I was worried about breaking my controller. (Didn't break it) - I'm worried that long-term, this might break somehow. The whole product just seems cheap. - I'm really worried that the little magnetic charging plugins will eventually break off in the charging port - I tested removing the magnetic charging bits many times. It includes a plastic "removal tool" which broke the first time I tried to remove them. However, I removed them about 5 times (to test it) with a knife, and as long as you're careful, it shouldn't be a problem. - You need to remove magnetic plugins to update controller firmware (not a big deal) I think this is worth what you pay for it, nothing more, nothing less. It does what it says, it looks cool, and makes charging easier. Only gave 4 stars because of overall cheap feel. Otherwise, it's totally worth the purchase.

I purchased this for convenience and to save some space on the table next to my desk, and it seems to work pretty well for that purpose. The overall quality is alright as well (bare minimum I'd expect for $50). It's nice that you can easily remove the plastic and lay it down flat in case you need to travel with it. If I had any suggestions, it would be to make it a little easier to set into the cradle at the bottom so it connects to the power supply. Thankfully, it's magnetic, so once you've wiggled it into the right general area (give or take a few millimeters) it will connect pretty quickly and without a problem.

Habe mir die Ladestation geholt damit die Controller nicht überall rum liegen. Die USB-Magnetadapter lassen sich nur mit viel Druck in die Controller stecken. Aber ich dachte mir, man macht das halt nur 1 mal. Dann gab es ein Firmware-update für die Controller, die dafür direkt am PC mit ein USB-Kabel angeschlossen werden mussten. Also USB-Magnetadapter wieder raus. Diese sitzen so fest, dass sie dabei kaputtgehen. Jetzt habe ich eine teure Ladestation ohne Funktion.

Schon länger habe ich nach einem brauchbaren Aufbewahrungsbehältnis für meine Vive Controller geschaut. Mit dieser Station bin ich endlich fündig geworden und kann damit die Controller sogar noch komfortabel laden. Ich habe diese Ladestation zwar schon erheblich günstiger im Internet finden können. Allerdings mit derart epochalen Versandkosten, dass ich sie hier bei Amazon letztlich doch am günstigsten beziehen konnte. Dennoch ist die Preislage heftig. Ich habe auch etwas gebraucht, bis die Kaufentscheidung dann doch gefallen ist. Bereut habe ich es nicht. Achtung: Es wird kein Netzteil mitgeliefert. Dafür muss z.B. ein Netzteil des originalen Vive Controllers oder irgendein USB-Ladegerät bzw. USB-Anschluss am PC herhalten. Mit den originalen Netzteil eines Vive-Controllers funktioniert es tadellos. Die Ladestation besitzt leider keinen An- / Ausschalter. Die Verarbeitung ist ohne Tadel. Alles ist aus stabilem Kunststoff. Der Zusammenbau ist innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden abgeschlossen. Bei den Magnethaltern für die Vive-Controller zum USB-Anschluss muss Mut aufgebracht werden. Es ist tatsächlich so, dass die Halter beherzt und kräftig eingedrückt werden müssen, bis sie absolut plan anliegen. Dafür sitzen sie absolut fest im USB-Anschluss des Controllers. Ein Entfernen ist dann tatsächlich nur noch mit dem der Lieferung beigefügten Tool möglich. Resümee: Genau, was ich schon länger gesucht habe. Endlich ein ordentlicher Aufbewahrungsplatz für die Controller samt Möglichkeit zum Laden. Mit den Magnet-USB-Adaptern einfach hineinstellen. Ich bin voll zufrieden. Der Preis mit knapp 50 Teuros ist allerdings extrem sportlich. Dafür hätte es durchaus echtes Karbon sein dürfen und kein Kunststoff in Karbon-Optik. Daher ein Stern Abzug.
